I thought I was finally getting what I wanted with Izzie and Alex and now I have to go through this crap!?! Why go and fix Alex when they were going to do this all along? Why have Izzie even try to go after him? WE ARE ABOUT TO JUMP SHARK!

I'm intrigued by the Izzie-Dead Denny story. Believe me Shonda Rhimes isn't just gonna give you the reason as to why Dead Deeny is around just yet? Remember how he was all like "I'm here for you?" If I know Shonda and there's a reason for this. Maybe now that he's dead, Denny can see that something bad is about to happen. Which is not all the ridiculous because when Meredith died, everyone in the room knew that she didn't swin. But if Denny's gonna be around till Episode 14, then that's probably when we'll find out.

Anna i totally agree this izzie and denny thing is messed up..... its mad iZZie saying sorry denny i cant and he`s like dont worry ill be right here WHILE YOU HAVE SEX WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND!!!! what the hell is that about i really cant believe this is going on till february where the hell is the story line going ???? what possible direction can it take they may seriously start giving out plots because the viewers are dropping by the min!!!! i loved Izzie and denny and its so sad watching them together now knowing that it wont happen.

Oh I thought the mods were bashing Gizzie too at first and got pretty mad and almost left a message, so thanks for setting us straight Hannah. I was shocked too as the mods here have always been nice with all the fans, whatever their shipping preferences.
It doesn't surprise me coming from Aussiello though, the man has no class and hates Gizzie so badly. He had a whole celebration when they ended even though he knew Gizzie fans posted there.

George and Izzie were the best couple ever. They were McObvious from day one. Sweet, hot, touching, heartbreaking and funny.
I adored them but since Shonda is a giant coward, I know they will never be revisited. I hope at least we can get the friendship back. I miss it so much, and that Izzie can go with someone else than Alex. Alex only ever had chemistry with Addison and he and Izzie have zero chemistry.
If George can't be with Izzie, I would love him with Lexie. They would be perfect together.
I swear though if they don't give George a story and soon, I won't watch Grey anymore.

I am tired of the Izzy-Danny thing! It's annoying but then again I'm not an Izzy fan. Cristina's romance is more interesting. It keeps me glued to the show. In all I love the show and look forward to whatever they have going but the Hahn and Callie romance was intolerable. Like both characters but not together. Still misses Burke. Wished he could return or get a guess appearance.

More Mer/Der moments please! Its season 5 and I think the majority of us have forgotten why Meredith and Derek got together in the first place... and I can't wait to see where Christina and Mcbada** go from here! ...lastly, I do think that Izzie and Alex need to have this one last tribulation before they can have a happy relationship together, but I agree with most fans, the show should have casted some of Denny's family members to come back with some unfinished business with Izzie.
On one hand, if Sloan is like beer bongs, then Lexie is like a shirley temple. However, you can't blame Shonda for wanting to have a little fun after seeing Lexi defend George in front of Sloan. I do think Sloan is impressed with Lexipedia's ability to remember many things, but other than that I don't think that a Lexi/Sloan relationship would last very long...and I think George will start to have more air time when something crazy happens and he realizes he does have feelings for Lexi :D I think Ma

Shonda, if you're reading this, please listen. Stop giving Christina "relationships" with men that she doesn't talk to. How can you have a relationship with someone if you never talk to them? At least Izzie and Alex and Meredith and Derek converse. I'm so sick of men starring at Christina in scene 1, fighting with her in scene 2 and then randomly kissing her in scene 3.

I think perhaps if they want Denny/Izzie to succeed, perhaps they could write in a twin brother to Denny (Lenny perhaps) played by the same actor. I don't agree with the writers killing Denny so soon and they are paying for it now. I believe whole-heartedly that Izzie would be much happier if there was a twin to Denny--that way the actor could portray a living character. I think Alex would be the best match for Lexie, given Izzie with "Lenny." I like Owen-Christina, for they seem to be cut from the same cloth with drive to success. Perhaps George is not destine for Romance, but he does need more air time! Does anyone know how to write ABC about this?

I have watched this show from the beginning. Izzie has always been a favorite although I did not like the Izzie/George episodes, it seemed out of character to me. Now Izzie/DEAD Denny. Don't get me wrong, I was so excited to see Denny come back but I had assumed it would be in a dream or something. Relationships with the dead.... I don't think so. This show has such good characters that I hate to see it making such STUPID story lines.

OK there is no way in hell George would ever root for Izzie tio be with jerk Alex. And let's face it, happy Alex and Izzie is the most boring thing on Earth.
I love JC but he does horrible as sweet, romantic guy. Now TR is king at it.
I will always hope George and Izzie get back together. Their relationship was so much purer and stronger than the one between she and Alex, but if she isn't with george, anyone but Alex, ABA.
They are the worst couple on the history of TV. They might actually make me quit the show forever.
mark and Lexie are second behind. Hello she looks like his kid! Gross, even his nickname for her is gross.

I actually became hooked on Grey's just this past summer watching the re-runs. Since then, I've rented past episodes to get "caught-up" and I've actually watched them backwards (watched season 4, then 3 and I just finished 2). Watching season 2 actually enlightened me on a lot that's happening now. Right before Izzy cut Denny's cord to the heart monitor thing - she said "If you see a light, do NOT go into it - stay away from the light!" Well apparently he listened to her and now he's in limbo!! There is a reason he's back now - whether it's medical with Izzy or not, I don't know. At first I thought he was here to make sure she was now going to be ok with Alex, but Alex hated him and he hated Alex back in season 2, maybe that's why he's back? So it's kind of like a mystery, or at least I hope it's going to be that interesting. But I feel sorry for Alex. She dumped him for Denny in season 2 and now she's doing it again, but for a ghost!!!

No I think this whole Dizzie thing is here to prove that there might be a possibility for Izzie to truly fall in love with someone else other Denny. Denny was her soulmate/ultimate love. Apparently Izzie hasn't moved on yet. She thought she has when she slept with George in season 3&4 or with Alex in season 5 but she hasnt. The patient from episode 7 just reminded her of her repressed memories of Denny and her guilt.
Mckidd said this storyline is based on Truly Madly something. I googled it and the movie is about this girl who lost her fiance from some kind of accident. When she is about to go out with her new boyfriend, her dead fiance comes back to haunt her. In the end, the ghost becomes so annoying that she has to let him go. then she falls in love with her new boyfriend. and then we know that her fiance came back to annoy her because he wanted her to move on. Shonda also said Alex and Izzie will grow together this year. Maybe this is Izzie's big love story because she has

I hate Alex and Izzie, and love Denny, but even I am starting to find this ridiculous. Do they have to destroy Dizzie just to prop up Alex and Izzie? can't they stand on their own? I am starting to think Shonda has as much faith in Alex and Izzie as a couple as I do, which means none, but then they should just put Izzie with someone else, preferrably George but any other guy would do.
George and Lexie could be a great couple I think if given a chance but like Gizzie, they don't seem to be, so my guess is Shonda really doesn't want George to ever find love, because he keeps losing love to other guys that deserve it less than him.

Why the season sucks:
1) The attending surgeons have been dumbed down and not acting like teachers.
2) The residents haven't matured much, aren't teaching anyone and are getting dumber.
3) The new interns aren't doing a whole lot. They are idiots.
Dr. Bailey was at least interested in her interns -- educating them, keeping track of them, assigning them tasks.
The Dizzie situation is serving no purpose. It's irritating. Denny is dead. The acting is thoroughly unappealing, as is the writing.
For the main characters, the transition from interns to residents appears to be a lost opportunity to see the characters grow. The residents should all be demoted and Dr. Bailey back in control of them. And include some of the newer interns. In fact, some of this season's residents should be fired. Some of the interns should be fired.
It really feels like the writers strike killed the feel of the show.

Hrii, in defense of the mods here, they are not the ones who called Gizzie the worst thing ever, the poster who sent the question to Aussiello is.
The mods here have always been very respetful of us Gizzie fans and wouldn't make comments like that.
I agree with everyone on Mark and Lexie, completely gross. He has grey hair and she looks 15 for goodness sake.
Could for once in his life Mark be the mentor who helps someone, does he have to sleep with everyone? It is getting gross.

Alex and Izzie were a very small part of season 2. You had MerDer, George and Izzie as best friends, Burketina. Izzie slept with Al;ex a couple of times the n dumped him from Denny. Of course the ratings were higher in season 2, the show was still fresh and new, and I will say it: beack in season 2, I know AI had a lot more fans. Now in season 5, I read a lot of people who think they should have stayed dead and that they lost their magic (to me, they naver had it anyway).
Beginning of season 5 was all Alex and Izzie all the time, and the ratings went down, which means they just aren't working anymore. Denny came back and the ratings went up.
You also have to understand that back in season 2, even the Gizize fans who hate AI could tolerate them back then because they hadn't seen how totally amazing Gizie would be as a couple. I know many people who stopped shipping AI when theys aw how great Gizzie was, and after that, those Gizzie fans couldn't go back to just accepting them as f

First, ABC removed Hahn because they didn't 'like' her... as if it matters!
Then Izzie's got this foolish storyline.
Shonda's pretending George doesn't exist.
And the pedophilia thing with Mark and Lexie... Gexie was going pretty well, and now they're ruining it - the only couple that is actually good, and George and Lexie are both alive.
And where the hell do you get off telling that Gizzie was the worst thing that's ever happened to the show? You pissed a lot of Gizzie fans with that.

I will say, as much as I love(d) Denny. He needs to be gone.
He is dead. And as for Izzie, I have no idea what to think. I just hope that she will be able to move on, to Alex who is actually being a genuinely (shock!) nice guy to her.
Or is it to much to ask that things could be slightly normal?
