Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! They absolutely CANNOT get rid of her.. she is the best thing that ever happened to the show and the reason I watch it!! She is amazing and is she goes I wouldnt be able to see her every week anymore... and I wouldnt be able to see her on broadway because i live in south africa. :(

I hope she does leave - I don’t really want her to go but she gets so little screen time and us so so so underused. She’s an amazing actress and a great Broadway star. She should go back and shine.
And yes she did pick Grey’s but for an 8 episode run, she stayed through the O’Cally thing stayed through the Callica thing that Shonda then went and f**ked up. If I was her I would be running- fast!
These rumours have been around for a while though - she was seen looking at NY apartments weeks after Brooke was sacked I can’t help thinking she was sacked as well but is staying a more episodes so it didn’t look like ABC where getting rid of the nasty nasty lesbians …

I still believe that Callie and Erica were not finished (or for that matter barely started). I loved Callie with Erica and the prolonged sucky "gay panic" writing made for the awkwardness between them. Brooke Smiith should not be gone, and I can imagine that Sara Ramirez has enough investment, passion and frustration with the Callica storyline that she might have said, "Forget this", and plans to sail on back to Broadway. I hope Callie's departure will be an intentional act of going to be with Dr. Erica Hahn as her girlfriend/lover.

I really hope Sara isn't leaving because she is the main reason I watch the show and I really don't want her to go back to broadway because then her fans like me won't be able to see her unless we actually go and see the show she is in and it's especially hard when you live in Canada like I do :( If the rumors are true and she is leaving then I hope she gets into movies like Katherine Heigl did or put out an album because I will be first in line.

They are not killing Callie in this episode, even if that promo makes you think so. According to the description for the episode that will be following this one (5.10), Callie is in that episode.
I really hope Sara is not leaving. I've been waiting two seasons for Mark and Callie to get serious about each other, and I'm still hoping it will happen by the end of S5 (even if it doesn't happen until the S5 SF). Sara and Eric have mad chemistry together. New gal Sadie isn't even in the same league as Callie, and neither is Lexie yet. I would be open to the possibility of Mark and Callie moving to PP.

I so hope this isn't true! Sara is AMAZING and one of the main reasons I watch Grey's. I'll be so sad not to see her every week! Don't let her go Shonda!

OMG! did anyone see the new preview for thursday's episode during dancing with the stars?!?! The first picutre you see is of Callie laying on the ground with a blank look on her face and blood running out of her nose & on the ground! OMG are they killing her?

I am so upset. This is horrible. I dont know what I'm gonna without Callie if Sara leaves. If that happens, I guess I'll have to sacrafice Alex and Izzie, Georgey, Cristina, and Merder..oh dear, and transfer to Private Practice to be with Addie. Maybe Mcsteamy will too. DONT DO THIS TOO US SHONDA.

OK, Seriously!!! That is fine that hey axed Hahn and Izzie but Callie...Seriously. I have wanted her to be with Mark since they became regulars. And Sadie, I am sorry but that is disgusting. Callie don't leave. Broadway can survive without you but, we can not!!

OH MY GOD!!!! i really hope that these rumors are false because Sara Ramirez is a great actress ... because of her character callie, i started to watch this show....she caught my attention at the end of the 3rd season if it wasnt for her i wouldnt be watching this show....i want her to stay in the show and hook up with McSteamy they make a good couple...and as for Sadie, she didnt like impress me in this last episode therefore i really dont like her and she doesnt like fit in the show....PLEASE DONT LET SARA RAMIREZ LEAVE!!!!!!! GREY'S ANATOMY WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WITHOUT HER!!!!!!

I want to see George on my screen. I LOVE him, Shonda, you hear?
I want him to have scenes with Izzie again.
I want Sadie to leave and all those new interns.

This better be a stupid rumor. I don't exactly looove Callie but I do see her as necessary for the show. I do not know if she is the best one for Mark (I think Sadie is actually more on his corner in the 'wild' sense) but Mark has begun to care and it would be a shame to him, for her to be let go.
This is all to provoke some sort of controversy. Prob to bring more ratings. If Katherine has already been fired or let go or whatever, she may have already began to give explanations and everything. Blah blah blah.
I seriously doubt that anyone is leaving. If they had, it already be a whole mess of interviews and everything.

I understand if Sara wants to leave because she wants to go back to broadway or something. but really why would she want to???
she makes so much more on Grey's than she would in a musical. A career on Broadway isn't easy stuff. But she does have amazing talent.

Callie is a better match for Mark than Sadie ever will be, and frankly I doubt the character of Sadie will be very welcomed among the group of Seattle Grace doctors. Her character has already come across as to unsympathetic and impulsive in this one episode alone, coming into Meredith's live expecting nothing has changed, getting the new interns to cut themself even more than they already did before! It was a mistake sending Brooke away, it will be an even bigger mistake sending Callie away, and it is a gigantic mistake introducing a character like Sadie for a longer periode! I mean why mess with and already established working dynamic? On one end Meredith, Christina, Izzie, Alex and Gerge, on the other the Chief, Derek, Baily, Mark and Callie, and on the third end Lexie, number one, two, three, four as Christina likes to call them!
Sadie is completly unnecessary!

I dont like the new cardiac surgeon either. Yeah i thought she might be stadning up for Brooke, which would be awesome because what happend to Erica was uncalled for. She never started any drama that was news worthy and so what if people didn't like the Callica storyline, I did and I know other people did too. No other show depicted a gay relationship the way they did, it was classy and creative. They put so much work into it only to get rid of it? Callie is the best female character on the show, she doesn't need to rely on being the bossy one, the needy one, the "emotional" one; she's just Callie and thats what she's liked for.
She presents a healthy image for females to look to and she's funny as can be.

When I first heard about Sara leaving the show it was because she was upset at the firing of Brooke Smith. Although I would hate to see her leave I think it is great that she is standing up for the crappy way things were handled with Callica. Sara (and Brooke too) is an amazing actress and I don't think she would be out of work long! I would love to see her back on Broadway.

PLEASE do not fire Sara! She is one of the best actresses on the show, and Callie is my favorite character. And they already fired Brooke, who was the other best actress on the show. If these rumors turn out to be true, Grey's is going to lose a lot of viewers.
