Denny was the most interesting character on the show.He seemed sweet and gentle while he was flat on his back. I think the writers made a mistake killing him off, but now what?! Either bring him back to life (HEY! They did it on "Dallas") or let him go gently into the good night. Could there be another character (live, that is) who looks like him coming to the show???

I hate denny being back..he shouldve been gone when she burned his sweater..being able to touch him and have sex with him took it to far..its just weird and not right..i dont look forward to thursdays near as much as i used to and i dont like that!! Come on...

I love the denny and izzie story line. You all need to quit yer bitchin and if you have so damned many issues with the flippin show just stop watching for christ sake.

How dumb! Dead is dead!!!!
We've had enough Denny with a very emotional and great scene in season 2. That was the point when we said goodbye, so he doesn't have to come back and definitely not for AT LEAST 5 epis!!!!

I am mainly a Gizzie fan but am all for anything that can break up disgusting Alex and Izzie, and I love Denny, so yay!
Now if they could make George and Izzie interact again.

Denny is an amazing character who never fails to make me feel good. We should give Shonda more credit here... She CREATED the show we are all addicted to! I'm all about having Denny back. I just want it to make sense already... Give her a minute. Stop bashing and threatening to abandon ship. Sit back... Enjoy... And let Shonda do what she does best: keep us glued to Grey's!

Izzie asks Denny why he came back and he tells her that he came back for her. It is obvious that he came back for her because she is going to die. THe sex with a dead guy thing is taking it a little bit too far. Waaay to far fetched.

LOL, it is funny how most of the comments are against Dizzie, yet he is the one who brought the ratings up. The ratings were in the toilet with Alex and Izzie together.
This is the same thing with Gizzie. The haters were so vocal about quitting the show beause of them yet the ratings never went down. The minute they broke up, the ratings plunged.
My guess is both Dizzie and Gizzie are way more popular then Alex and Izzie, but their fans are actually mature adults that don't have the time to spam polls and message boards all day long.
Their fans will quit the show though if they don't get them. How many Gizzie fans have quit? AI fans never do.
But they yell loud in the hope the critics like those here and TPTB will be stupid enough to believe louder means bigger and guess what? they are.
The AI fans are pathetic and deep down they know the ratings were bigger with Gizzie and now only Denny is bringing them up not their disgusting abusive couple.

I agree with Sophie(11/18 post)Jeffery Dean Morgan should be doing something better He is HOT! People Magazine should look at him for the sexiest man of the year..millennium I mean.He did increase the ratings.Even my 70 yr old mother thinks he is up there with Robert Redford and all the handsome s of her youth.The bonus, he is an excellent actor. Thank You Shonda for bringing him back!!!

Wow, everyone is so freaked over the Denny/Izzie story line..
Whats the big deal..Denny is so nice to look at, he makes me melt..It is entertainment..and I am thrilled to see him again, no matter how strange the story line..Get over it!

okay, so ive been arguing with a friend at work about this storyline. i want to say that i loved denny. LOVED him and when he died i thought the writers were cold, heartless jerks, and i cried for like an hour after that episode....but he did, in fact, die. we watched him die. and i was happy that she was moving on with alex because we finally were getting to see alex as a genuine person instead of the jerk they always make him out to be. i was thinking maybe she was having a breakdown, but the brain tumor thing makes sense, and if she does have a brain tumor, then hurray for awesome tv, except if she doesnt survive. if she leaves, the show will lose something. it lost a little when addison left, and if they lose her they'll lose a big something. i dont know...denny's dead and they should leave him where he is. let alex win one for once. at the rate its going, its going to be nothing but bad for him.

look people, it is not shondas fault that izzy dont whant to be on the show she told the press her self, so did derek.
they sad that they whant to do somthing BIGER but they dont have any IQ so thay dont understand that greys anatomy made them superstars because if thay wasn`t in greys anatomy they would only be some suckers how wuold do enything to have 1 minut on the screen.
but I still love everyone in greys anatomy and i hope that no one of the people that have bin in greys anatomy sinc seasone 1 whont quit.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is definitely HOT and someone should give him his own show. He needs bigger parts. But, I think a lot of people have objections about the character Denny returning b/c, after all, he's dead. It is not real.

ok so we spent the first of season five setting up the hottest couple Alex and Issie, all for what? Denny should of been gone with the burnig of the sweater. No wonder Alex is pissed off at the world look at the crazys he has to deal with. Please let Alex and issie be together they are the hottest couple on the show. But if Issie is leaving the show, lets start looking for a women for alex and an amazing story line, lets face it hes the sexy man ever.

I actually really love Dizzie. They are my second favorite couple after Gizzie, but I feel bad for the AI fans. I know what it is like to be betrayed by Shonda. I am a Gizzie fan after all, you know the two best friends who fell in love and now act like total strangers Gizzie?
So yeah Shonda sucks to treat her fans that way.

I just watched the promo for next episode and all I have got to say is this better be Izzies unprocesed grieg taking the form of Dannys ghost or a halucination caused by a braintumor or an naurisam, cos otherwise this show has lost all credibility and has turned into some cheap-shot, neverending soap of the worst kind and lowest rating!!!

Yeah, Taylor that idea could be possible... they did that before. Mer was seeing Derek when she was with Steve and Derek was seeing Mer when he was with Addison.
It would make sense but it doesn't explain how she was talking to Alex at the door..
ehh I don't know. I'm gonna quit wasting my time trying to figure it out and just take it as it comes.

I think that the last two episodes have been the highlight of the season (so far) and it has a lot to do with Denny.
Having him back really isnt that realistic, thats why i am leaning more towards Izzy having a brain tumor and is just hallucinating. I think Derek will get to operate on the tumor and save her. While she is in surgery she will get to say goodbye to Denny like she should have when he first passed and when she wakes up she wont see him anymore.
