I love Denny, but this is a terrible and awful storyline.I wish they would just let her be happy with Alex. It isn't fair. She promised him she wouldn't go crazy, and he trusted her and I don't like this at all!

Mer/Der-not enough. Good stuff, but on such a tiny scale. More, please.
Callie/Mark-love where this seems to be headed. They both deserve someone good and they are fun together.
Izzie/Denny- {sigh} I am disappointed to say it-but I'm intrigued. Disappointed because he IS dead-so unless Izzie is dying or has something horrible about to happen to her than this makes no sense. He did keep saying "are you ok?" and "I'm here for you" which makes me think he KNOWS why he's there-maybe if only to encourage her to fight to live. Sex with the dead??? Kinda skeevy. But I'll take Denny back any way I can get him-even if only for a few short episodes! Be intrigued people!
George-Don't waste him. He is a good actor and a great character. Totally underutalized.
Alex-How much more can this dude take? Make him be the reason Izzie fights to live, then make him stay THAT guy.

Oh, and about the Cristina - Hunt thing. I can't seem to understand what Hunt really wants or feels, but his agressive way of making things makes me like him in a very weird way...He's very masculin and attractive...His agressivity shouldn't be a problem, because Cristina has it too and she probably likes it, but I'm not really sure whether he wants to be with her or not. I mean, after the first kiss he acted really strange. I wonder how he will act after the second one.

I loved Denny, but thats the thing, i LOVED him. He's gone now, in the past, not the future. It's ok that Izzie sees him, but its just too supernaturalish that they talk and KISSES! Maybe it's not just Izzie struggling to let Denny go, but also Shonda and ABC? Let him go and let Izzie move on and be with Alex.
And by the way, what's up with all Mer's relatives and past-relations showing up at the hospital?! What's the odds? We have the alzheimer-mom, drunken-dad, fake-mom, Molly and her daughter, half-sister Lexie Grey and now her past-bestfriend is showing up?! ENOUGHT, we don't need to know everything about her and her past. Let it be! What's the next thing that's gonna happend, Mer seeing her dead great-great grandma'? So stop forcing all her relatives down our throats!

No you are not the only one,. Deny has a lot of fans. I am a Gizzie fan but I always loved Dizzie too. I don,t care about lex t all. ight now, all I want ismore George. I wat hm ither with Izzie or best friends with her, and I muc rather see alle andMark and George and Lexie than Mark nd LexieLittle Gry, eww, even that makes er sound too young for him. What is Shonda doing?

I had a friend who died almost three years ago. His name was Danny. So everytime I see Denny Duquette, I think of him. And God how I would like to talk to him and to touch him for one last time! So I totally enjoyed the scene! I can't think of any reason why this is happening to Izzie but I would give anything to have it happening to me. Cause I always have dreams, and dreams aren't real. I want something real, something to show me that he sees me from where he is and that he wants me to be OK...just like Denny wants.

the whole denny thing needs to end immediately. he's dead. end of story. and the fact that izzie is seeing him all the time is weird. just weird. enough! i didn't like the story back in season 2, and i sure as hell don't appreciate it now. she needs to be with alex. he's had such a crappy past. izzie came to him to let him know that she cared about him. SHE CARED ABOUT HIM. and now she's becoming a psycho. maybe it's time to send her on up to the fifth floor of sgh.

the episode was good, but the whole denny thing is weird i mean the past is the past leave him there, izzie is with alex now and he is trying to change to be a better person i mean he did burn the sweater for her this thing with denny will change alex again if they keep denny with izzie.and whats with that weird doctor who dosen't like to talk to anyone i hope she dosen't stay. seattle grace dosen't need any boring people walking around.and sadie seems ok i just hope she don't ruin the friendship between cristina and meredith.oh yes the merder thing they need more seens together but they still seem happy thats good.the mark and lexie thing was funny calling her little grey and hitting on her and derek saying keep your little sloan out I laughed so hard.i just want to finish by asking where was george this episode i didn't see him.one more thought cristina and hunt are cute i hope they bring them together eventually.and no more hahn callie is so devestated i feel bad for her.

Wow, like almost nobody is happy to see Denny. I was thrilled to see Denny. I loved Izzie and Denny in season 2 and am happy he's back, but that means something is wrong. But I also love Alex. So Im excited to see how this turns out. And whats up with like no MerDer!! I mean, come on. Theres like no scenes with them any more. And I dont think I like Sadie, she kind of just appeared out of no where.

BTW, the plot line with the new cardio Marie McDonnell was not memorable. Not sure if it will be an interesting addition at this point.

I agree with most of the posts that the Denny thing is just dumb. Plus, after Rebecca went all crazy on Alex, didn't Izzie promise she wouldn't do that to him and she would be there for him? The whole Denny thing is just wrong. The introduction of Sadie was odd. There was no hint of her coming on the show and suddenly she pops up and is now an intern. It just lacks coherency. Owen Hunt is a great addition. I love his baritone voice. Definitely a man's man. This episode is probably one of my least favorite.

It was a great, wonderful, intense moment, but a little unreal.Denny is dead, now Izzie is in love with Alex.She's trying to move on. The fifth season is fantastic, but I want to see the develpment of MER/DER's story, now their relationship is stabile, boring, not exciting.
I always love Grey's!!!!

I havent seen the whole episode yet but Im really starting to get tired of cristina getting in the middle of merder and now aaaalso this new oldfriend.... is ridiculous... a little bit ridiculous is nice and funny but this is going too far... no boyfriend would accept that, not even mcdreamy...
and this thing with denny..........
well... I'll keep watching the episode but really, I sadly feel that GA is going down and lower..... :(

I'm with you in that Izzie is my favorite character & I'm totally excited to see Denny (Jeffery Dean Morgan) back on the scene. The writers on the show have come up with some pretty incredible ideas in the past, so I'm anxiously awaiting to see how they plan to make this "real". And I hope they do; I think it's about time there was a romantic loving relationship on the show, instead of the commitment phobic, get-it-on relationships we've seen. The main reason I watch this show is because of Izzie and Denny, so I've been a happy camper the past two week!!

Amanda--agreed on all counts! Izzy deserves a real story line, not this sex with the undead crap. And if they're going to kill her, can't she die with dignity--not as a total nutjob?
More George/Lexie would be lovely, especially since the McSteamy/Lexie stuff makes me a little sick to my stomach. Its a hop, skip and a jump away from pedophilia for goodness' sakes! What's so threatening about letting Mark and Callie have a relationship? Hot guy can't be with the curvy chick? She only gets George and lesbian action? (though I loved Callica). Seriously Grey's think of your audience!
Sadie must die. I'm on team Christina. No replacements, and no more new characters! Develop the ones we have & love!
(But we can keep Dr. Hunt, because me-ow, that man is hot. And tortured. Tortured hot doctor with smoldery-ness. Now THAT'S the Grey's I started watching 5 years ago!)

Ok, so I am just going to point out the obvious here..Denny keeps telling Izzie "I'm here for you" and Denny is dead so that can only really mean a couple things. Izzie is dying or will end up with something that will bring her close to death. AND he also keeps asking her if she's ok. Clearly he knows something we dont! I'm a seriously so disappointed. I was cool with Denny being a ghost but Izzie having sex with him (per the preview) is just plain ridiculous!! I really hope that if they chose to kill Izzie's character off they think of something more creative then what we are already anticipating. Maybe she'll be close to dying and have to choose between living for Alex or dying for Denny. I just hope Denny doesnt stick around til the end of the season. Izzie is one of my favorites and i'd hate to see her leave. Plus, poor Alex. The hits just keep comin. He's finally trying to be a good man. The old Alex would have called someone crazy for talkin to a dead guy but new Alex was support

I agree! Denny sucks and I want him to go away. There are enough shows on televison that deal with the supernatural. If we wanted to watch that stuff we would watch Lost, True Blood, or Life on Mars. All good shows, but we want the drama! Lets get back to interns sleeping with attendings, George always screwing things up, and Merideth being the only crazy person on the show.

Blech. Please send Denny away. It was bad enough when they RUINED Izzy 2nd Season with that storyline (i.e. throw away your med. career for some dude you just met) but now they're remaking Ghost (and J. D. Morgan is NO Patrick Swayze!). Boo Shonda! I expect better!
