Sneak Previews From "Rise Up"
Below is a sneak preview from tomorrow night's all-new episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Rise Up." Our favorite group of residents meet a new patient (we use the term loosely) named Stan, and in the process, learn a piece of information that lights a fire under them ...
While the situation with Brooke Smith abruptly and controversially leaving the series continues to cast a pall over this episode, it does look pretty entertaining on its own merits.

Okay people.. we're not even close to the season being over! I'm sure there will be things about Gizzie, but it's probably wicked awkward after they just broke up, no matter how close they are. I love their friendship and I want to see them together, but Izzie is dealing with Denny AND Alex right now, and it's not like she's gonna talk to George about her relationship with Alex. As for having no resolutions to Gizzie, Callica, or Burke/Cristina... Burke left Cristina at the altar and then quit, and she took a whole season to get over that... how is that not a resolution? And to be honest, in the real world, when two people break up, a lot of the times there is no resolution, and you either move on and pretend it never happened or you take a while to get over it, even though you're confused.
Now, I liked Brooke, wasn't a huge Callica fan, but I didn't think her exit was THAT bad. C'mon.

I seriously do not agree with what abc did. I'm sure shonda consulted with them before bringing a lesbian couple to audience. They should have said no then, because waiting until something develops and then wiping it away clean was not cool. Hahn was mean n bitchy but I feel so sorry for Brooke Smith I mean she moved her whole family to california just to do the show. I'm just disappointed for her as a real person...........As for the show shonda may have more interesting material to write base on hahns departure i think it would make for good drama. Forever and always a grey's fan just disappointed in abc.

I love that BuddyTV article. How are the Gizzie fans suppose to move on when they act like they never happened? A little this didn't work out but you will always have a special place in my heart or we will always be best friends would make us feel a lot better.
Even the people who didn,t like the couple loved the friendship. Why did she kill it too? It makes me so mad.

Greysaddiction, this is Grey who is acting like Gizzie wasn't even best friends to begin with and are total strangers. I fully expect Alex to be the only one for her. After all, in this enw revised version, we are suppose to believe he is not only the love of her life but also her BFF and person and George is absolutely NOTHING to her. I bet we don't even get one George and Izzie scene.
BuddyTV, a site where a lot of Gizzie fnas post but where the mods are admittedly haters of the show, even criticizied Grey for the lack of resolution to Gizzie, something this site has yet to do despuite promises to the contrary.

OK, so we are going to see George & Izzie friend time, right? You can't do this story line with Izzie without her leaning on her best friend who was there for her through it all in the beginning and everything in between.
I look forward to the interaction between them!

Then you should hate Alex, the loser gets a lot more airtime than George who gets 3 minutes an episode. I hate Izzie and Alex anatomy. I love MerDer and Gizzie, and the rest sucks.
