Today's TV Tidbits: ABC Cancels Shows, Changes Schedule

Lots of news out of ABC today:

The network has given the ax to Pushing Daisies, Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money. Each series will complete its 13-episode order for the season, but nothing more. Write in and share your eulogies on these once-promising shows.

Canceled Shows

Meanwhile, the network has confirmed a handful of long-rumored midseason schedule tweaks. To wit:

  • Private Practice will move to Thursdays at 10 p.m. beginning December 11.
  • Life on Mars, which just got picked up for four additional episodes, will shift to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. beginning January 28.
  • Scrubs will join ABC's Tuesday lineup on January 6 at 9 p.m.
