Mark and Lexie were seriously gross. Teach etach me oh big daddy. What is this? A bad porn movie. She also didn't show an inch of interest in him until Sadie told her it was a good way to go ahead to sleep with your teacher, so now she seems like a desperate ambitious sl*t.
I loved her with George. They were so sweet and cute, but this show can't do sweet cute couples. They have to do gross porny ones.
I was so happy to see George and see he was the only one who noticed about Izzie. hat is why he, not Alex, is her person, but George needs to be on more.
I thought this episode had very good parts, others, not so much. I am really a fan of the Alex and Izzie storyline, I always have been. I think they go really well together, Izzie makes Alex a better person. Up until recently, it seemed as though Izzie wanted their relationship more so that Alex ever did. Now, since Izzie is not right mentally, Alex has realized how much he LOVES Izzie.
Maybe I am a fan of their relationship because they have been my favorite characters since the beginning. But none the less, they have chemistry and their relationship keeps me intrigued. Alex is a bad boy, and I think that all girls at some point have fallen hard for a bad boy, that is what Izzie initially felt. They have both gone through difficult things in their lives, and they get each other because of it. I cried when Alex told Izzie he loved her, because she was thinking of Denny the whole time and didn't say she loved him back. That has got to hurt. Alex is making himself vulnerable and avai

Cristina and Owen make me want to stab a scalpel into my spleen!
I really am hating Cristina at the moment, because she's being an ass to Mer. Why can't she just get past everything? Get over the fact that MerDer are going to be together, be happy, and try to stay that way, and try to have a healthy relationship... somehow. GET OVER IT! Mer isn't hers. She's her person sure... but Mer will always belong to Der. It's how it works. Cristina really has to get over herself and stop punishing Mer for being happy. ARGH!
Mer was honest about the intern thing. She was honest to her boss. Mer didn't know anything about what was going on until Sadie was on the operating table crashing. She was telling the TRUTH! That is why I think that it was fair that Cristina got the punishment for what happened. Cristina should have told the Chief about what was going on the minute it happened, but she didn't. Her fault. Not Mer's. Not anyone elses. Sure every ones interns were involved... but, Cristi
OHHH I totally agree with a lot of you, Cristina and Owen are sooo cuteeeee, he is so much caring about her, it was sooo romantic!!! There is really something about them, a real evolution. And i like the fact that the writters take the time to build this out.
Karev was so cute too, i like that new change, but i just hope that Izzie will realize how lucky she is.. anyway...enough of the Denny thing
Can't wait to see the next episode!

The thing is that Cristina knew about the interns doing medical procedures on themselves. If she would've told Meredith about it and in the Chief scene, Mer wouldn't have stood up for her, Cristina would've a reason to be upset at Meredith, but Meredith didn't know. And we all know Mer needs some time to digest big info. Cristina has no reason to blame everyone else because even though they all had interns, only one resident knew about their "Fight Club" and she chose to stay quiet. Karma's a bitch Cris.
I also was strung by Derek's "I can't stand death" speech. Like Maddie said, the man is hurting and I really wish they could explore it. He has all this feelings up in him that he may feel he's drowning again (hence like S.2 premiere). What happened to his father? Obviously Mer's drowning took a toll on him but maybe still is? If you do the math, Derek has seen a lot of death but for him to get to this point, there's something building up. Let him break down so he can get better. I

Alex saying I love you was really sweet especially when he started freaking out before his solo surgery...makes me wish that Denny can just move on already.
By the way, I think he is the most qualified to do that amputation...Christina did the right thing and she's right, that all those interns are all their interns and therefore all their responsibility so it wasn't fair, she was the one blamed and had to give up the surgery for someone else.
And it would have looked shady if she gave it to Meredith...it would look like it's because they're friends and I found it annoying that Meredith thought Christina didn't pick her because they're fighting.
The Lexie and Mark thing was good too, though I wonder what Mer and Der would do when they find out...but I think Sloan is trying to be a good guy on that scenario and it didn't help that Lexie showed up at his door but it's cute how he's pushing her away, telling her she's in his space and all that.
I hate Meredith is this epi, what kind of friend is she? Her friend had been tortured by a whole dame day, Meredith didn't say anything nice to comfort Cristina, what she did just said some crap, like I am the best, I deserver it. You didn't choose me, becasue you took it personal. WTF!! Seriously!
Cristina was right! All of their interns were in there! But only she got the punishment, which is totally unfair!! Is she the only one bitch to her intern? Check Alex! Check Izzie! Even looked at Meredith, she is not perfect, she also named her interns by numbers!

Owen/Cris: I found the kiss romantic, but not the vent...
the line "little Sloan in little Grey" is totally hilarious. Makes me laugh every time I hear it. I'm happy they're hooking up. I think we will get to see another side of Mark.
Lexie has positively grown on me as a character. I think she is the funniest on the show.
Bailey's scenes were great! It was refreshing to see her interact that way with Sloan, to see them work together and to see see her that excited.
Something that really annoys me with Grey is all the repetitions they put in the show week after week. I want to shout at the camera, "I'm not deaf! We heard it already". Seriously, are the writers required to repeat at least one line at least three time in every single episode? What's with the "she loved you. She loved you. She loved you." And the "teach me"...
Repetitions of lines are annoying. And not sexy. And not dramatic. They are plain annoying. Please, writers, do something about it. I'm sure I'm not

Ok...so i see xtina's point that no one else has claimed responsibility for their own interns actions, does she really expect people to risk losing the solo surgery themselves?? i mean do we really think cristina would if the situation were reversed?? i can understand her being mad at mer for not sticking up for her infront of the chief, but as her person y didnt she ever tell mer "hey, by the way our interns have been practicing on each other." she told mer that she thought lexie was cutting herself. y wouldnt she tell mer that lexie isnt cutting herself she's practicing sutures on people? anyone see my point?

Has anyone noticed they have not incorporated the holidays into any of these episodes? What about a storyline for Mer/Ders' first Thanksgiving together as a couple? That could've been good considering they had such depressing holidays over the past seasons being apart. Love Mark and Lexie. Good combo and drama to add! Enough about Callie, boring, boring, boring.

These are the two parts that I cried in. Derek really affected me... he was really upset about losing his patient. He's sick of the death. I bawled. I hate it when Der is hurting like that. He's such a mess when he's like that. I just wanna hug him. Mer and Der were both attached to their patients this episode.
So here are the QUOTES I wanted to share that really touched me.
Emma: I never should have said it, I didn't mean it, I never should have said it.
Meredith: Tell her that. Tell her the last thing you'd want her to hear. Because you have to believe that if it were you in this bed and Holly was sitting with you feeling this bad, you would forgive her. Tell her.
Emma: I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I love you.
Meredith: She loved you too. No matter what you said, no matter what happened between the two of you. She loved you. She loves you. She loves you.

First WOW - I loved all the new little twists last night!!
I love Alex and I loved to see the softer side of him professing his love to Izzy (even if she's a whack job)

I really enjoyed this episode. It truly was beautiful. I cried, I laughed... which is everything I always get out of Grey's. It's never lost me as a far, not for a second. Even with all the MerDer angst. It makes for great episodes.
Although we didn't get much MerDer at all this episode... the part we did get was enough. All the other story lines and twists made up for it as well.
Poor Alex. Izzie is messed up in the head and when it gets worse... her and Denny do the nasty. Luckily George has noticed that she's acting really strange. So...YEY! Izzie will get fixed.
Mer was really great this episode. Very compassionate. I do think that Mer is the most qualified. She has done many many surgeries, thought up clinical trials, flown solo sort of when Sadie was practically dying last week. She really should have been chosen for the solo surgery. But ah well. I really do think that it was personal between Cristina and Mer. But, I really can't stand Cristina this season. She's so ann

Okay, for those of you who want to whine about MerDer. You can have it one of two ways: lots of MerDer screen time with drama and angst but they won't be happy in love. You can have them happy in love (which all of you asked for) and they seem "boring" and don't get a lot of screen time. Take your pick. I have yet to meet a couple who is happy that has drama and angst in their relationship.
Thank god for George noticing something is wrong with Izzie. Izzie obviously doesn't care enough right now to try to find out what is wrong with her. So here comes the best friend (apparently forgotten thanks to some whining by the actor) to save the day! Poor Alex, though. I gasped when he told her he loved her, and it was ruined by stupid Denny. I used to love Denny, one of my favorites, but now he's just ruining Alex, and Alex has come so far, I would hate to see him stomped into the ground again.

oo i forget bout Dr. Dixon!!
she has a lot of potential...i think. If they keep going in the direction she is going in I think they could possibly make her important. I don't know about you, but both Christina and Merideth both seemed to feel sorry for her,as if Baily had told them about her syndrome.
I think it would be kool if Christina and Dixon became surgical buddies.I laughed so hard when Dixon made the weird noise while standing in front of Christina, after Christina had found her.

I don't know about anyone else, but this episode, to me, was by far the best. The music was good, the twists were amazing, and I loved merideth quoting herself from the very first episode of Grey's Anatomy (when she told the people to stop betting on when Alex would choke -- just like they did to Goerge in 1-1).
I also really liked how George took concern for Izzy. If it is T.R. who is causing the drama....he better stop. Because this is a storyline that might be able to allow Izzy and George to regain their relationship as best friends.
Also, the thingy with Mark was amazing. They acted the entire thing out perfectly (the thing with Christina too).

oo i forget bout Dr. Dixon!!
she has a lot of potential...i think.
