Get ready to cry when you see Jason Mesnick engaged during the final rose ceremony on the new season of The Bachelor, host Chris Harrison says.

"I'm extremely happy for Jason and the woman he chose. It's a fantastic season that has an incredible finish," Harrison told Us Weekly Thursday. "There will be many tears shed as fans take this journey with us this season."

The Seattle single dad - who was dumped by DeAnna Pappas on The Bachelorette - gets engaged on the upcoming season, which debuts January 5.

Jason Mesnick was hesitant to start dating again after his rejected proposal, but said he had high hopes for finding love on the show. Looks like he did.

"I am ready," the handsome devil said. "I am through it and open to giving these girls everything I can to find the one that is right for me. All I am missing, really, is someone to share [my life] with. There's no guarantee... but 25 girls? I mean, it's a real opportunity to find just one."
