I think the lily and Rufus child has died cos there was a story going round that they had a boy put him up for adoption then lily and rufus track him down and speak to his mum and dad then find out that he had died when he was swimming in a river and drowned.
The Child of R and L was a boy
he is now dead though
he recently got in a boat accident
the son is the same boy who hit is head in School lies

Wouldn't Lily's love child be Serena she is the older child and it would explain why Dan and her never seem to work out. If lily did have a love child it it is 100% Serena. i may be wrong, but it's all good. =D

1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
Blair: "I love you" that totally made me tear up!
2. How great was Ed Westwick last night?
Ah-mazing!! His acting forever changed my opinion of him. The emotion that he put into it was exceptional and I was speechless
3.Bigger waste of money: Chuck paying for information he torched, or Gossip Girl paying an actress to play Vanessa?
Totally Vanessa.
4. More confusing plot line: Cece's underlying motives regarding Lily, Dan and Serena basing decisions on whether their parents are dating, Aaron jetting off to Buenos Aires for the holidays (with a high school girl, the day after his dad gets married)?
I mean, Aaron's dad JUST got married, and he wants to go off on a vacation spending like NO TIME WITH HIS DAD! Isn't that what holidays are all about??
5.Kleenex alert! On a scale of 1-10, rate the following heartwarming moments: Blair saying the three little words; The Waldorf-Rose wedding; The Blair-Cyrus talk; The silent

Ed Westwick really was amazing last night. I really saw him shine as an actor, seeing that he really could do more than just brute and be scheming. I'm sure he's made many more girls swoon over his dark and troubled character. Not to mention, he looks amazing, I like his hair messed up like that, very nice.
As for the Lily and Rufus' surprise, it has to be a boy. I don't know why, but a girl just doesn't seem right. If she kept the child, I could imagine a gorgeous blond model-esque young man with a certain knack for writing music. It would totally up the ratings. Not that they are needed after last night's episode.

1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
I think it's a tie between Blair's "I love you" and Chuck's "Family? I don't have afamily"
2. How great was Ed Westwick last night?
Breathtaking. Ever since I started watching Gossip Girl I knew he had such potential; Chuck is a very complex character and Ed never stopped to amaze me. I have a blind trust over his actoral skills, but this completely shocked me, and in a good way, it was beyond my expectations and trust me, they are high. Ed and Leighton both seem to outstand from the rest, and their chemestry seems rather... magical.
And somebody said it before me, but Chuck's character reminded me to the Joker wihtout make up.
3. Bigger waste of money: Chuck paying for information he torched, or Gossip Girl paying an actress to play Vanessa?
I'm definitely going with Vanessa. Jessica Szohr is the worst thing that happened to Gossip Girl ever, even worse than Jenny's breakout. Not only her character is lose

lol
Really
Everyone who watched the EP saw that Serena wants do be with Dan. The question Aaron asked her seemed normal to me.
I would like to ask her the same thing and also to say "stop the drama, leave it for Blair, she does better"

Re: love child - NO WAY can it be Eric - if that's what the writers came up with, it's completely ridiculous, because that would mean that Rufus slept with Lilly while being married to Dan & Jenny's mom (and right around the time of conceiving Jenny). The show from the start set up Rufus as a wholesome, family-oriented, non-cheating one. Also, all information we've been given over the 2 seasons indicates that Rufus & Lilly affair ended before either got married and had children.

1. I'm going to have to go with Eric here 'We know that's gin in your coffee cup.' Genius.
2. Ed Westwick was phenomenal. I've always thought of him and Leighton Meester as the more talented of the bunch (by far) but he really impressed me tonight. He was so dark and Ed captured exactly how I imagined Chuck would feel perfectly.
3. Vanessa. Definitely Vanessa. I think the real mystery in Gossip Girl is 'Can Jessica Szohr act?' That would shock me much more than a love child ...
4. I was confused by Aaron. I mean, your dad JUST got married. You should spend Christmas with your new family. Get to know them a little? Just a suggestion. I think Cece made sense, she's always been a manipulative b****, so why should I be surprised.
5. Blair saying 'I love you': 20. This is when I first started to cry. I didn't stop until 20 minutes after the episode ended.
The wedding: 0 I didn't cry at all over this. I had tears, but that was just me reflecting on what had happened up until thi

It can't be Eric. The love-child would have to be older than Serena because the hospital-in-france incident would have to had happened right when Lily broke up with Rufus for the first time when they were in their 20s.

Yes Ed was amazing and Leighton as well. Whenever they are together it's like sparks give off. They are truly magical to watch. Let's hope Chuck can someday tell Blair that he loves her too.........because we know he does! The bedroom scene last night showed that. Tender and beautiful and no sex was involved.........just love!
1. What was your favorite Gossip Girl quote from the episode?
Since this was an emotional episode I have to go with Chuck:
"Family?" ... "I don't have a family".... Major tearing up.
2. How great was Ed Westwick last night?
From the moment I started watching GG in the middle of season 1 (I have since watched them all) I knew he was a extrodinary actor... but this was above and beyond even my expectations. Everything out of his month and every expression on his face was full of raw emotion. It would be a shame if he is not recognized.
3. Bigger waste of money: Chuck paying for information he torched, or Gossip Girl paying an actress to play Vanessa?
Chuck paying for the info was just part of the drama so I liked it. I don't like the character V so I guess I have to go with that.
4. More confusing plot line: Cece's underlying motives regarding Lily, Dan and Serena basing decisions on whether their parents are dating, Aaron jetting off to Buenos Aires for the holidays
