Am I the only one disturbed by Terry's post? get it through your head, a whole lot of us love Gizzie and thought they were the hottest best couple around.
Now AI and Mark and Lexie, they give me the horror, but I don't whine about it all the time.
George is probably the most popular out of all the interns, the one character most fans really like, so not sure what you are babbling about.
Fans spent the entire season asking for more George, that doesn't strike me as a character that is the least favorite when people keep saying they want more of their George.
Basically everyone loves George.
Like I said, I think he is totally believable as a romantic lead. He has hot chemistry with both Izzie and Lexie, IMO a lot more than Alex and Mark have with them.
So you are either shallow or a homophobe, which is it?

Actually George is probably one of the most favorited and loved characters on the show.
I have seen many many polls about characters people loved the most and George always ended up either on top or really close to it.
The guy from AH once told TR that George was the most popular character on Grey and KH said everyone who talked to her always told her how George was their favorite character, so not sure what you are talking about.
George and Izzie were the HOTTEST couple on TV. That elevator kiss is the hottest kiss I have ever seen. I watched the scene on Youtube numerous times and people there rave about what a hot kisser TR is and what hot hands he has.
You seem to be the kind of ignorant loser that wants the gay actor to remain the best buddy, the asexual one, and really people like you make me sick.
You might not miss him if he leaves but a lot of us will and many of us won

Actually, George is a favorite intern. Well, resident now. I've been watching from the start and I always liked George. And when I found out that he was gay, I was ectatic :) But then he got a boyfriend... That's younger than me! (I'm 32, sshhh ;) ). Ah, can't get them all..
As I was saying, I like Georgie. I don't like Alex too much, but he's often tollerable. George and Izzie were delicious together! I wish they would have stayed a couple, but ah..I don't write the show. Georgie needs to get himself some so I can see his cute little touchey on my screen again ;p
Hopefully they'll work something out with TR.

George is the least favourite of the 5 interns. But he does provide comic relief with his goofiness but I dont really want him to leave. But other series have actors leaving the show so TR knight wanting out of a show is nothing new and I wont miss him if he leaves.
If he stays, please DONT HAVE HIM ROMANTICALLY with any females. He makes the most ridiculous lover. Gizzie still give me the horrors.

Dango let me get this straight you have no problems with the annoying woman-child Lexie taking all the time away from MerDer but you want an original character to leave because you don't want his two lines to take away from your couple? What the heck is wrong with you?
For many of us, George is Grey, not to mention he is a member of fab 5, Izzie's person and the glue that holds everythin together.
Hey maybe last-minute rewrites will give Lexie and Sadie and dead Denny,s overinflated airtime to George, ever thought of that?
Geez, do you seriously think it is ok that a character that is so loved gets no story or airtime at all because it seems to be what you are saying and you really are making me mad.
If all the George fans leave, maybe Grey will get canceled then you won't be able to see MerDer at all.

Are you kidding? George is not the one taking time away from MerDer. Little Grey is. Lexie is replacing Meredith and Slexiepuke is the new MerDer. If I was the MerDer fans, I would be seriously worried about Shonda's complete love affair with Lexie Grey.
Lexie and Mark and Sadie and Izzie's sex with DEAD Denny are the ones taking time away from MerDer, so get rid of those stories and both MerDer and George can have stories.
TR only wants to leave because they treat his character like dirt and give more scenes to the new interns and various guest stars and a dead ghost than him.
If he got a story he would want to stay.
George's 3 seconds of airtime isn't taking away from MerDer. Hello, have you been watching the show and why are you not complaining about the real thief of MerDer's airtime.
I KNOW IF GEORGE LEAVES, I DO TOO SO SHONDA BETTER GIVE HIM A GREAT STORY AND MAKE HIM STAY OR HER RATINGS WILL GO DOWN THE TOILET.

Dango, if the writers would stop focusing on Sadie, Hunt, intern#2, Lexie, asperger Dr., and Denny there would be room for George and Merder. If I were TR I'd be pissed a character killed off 3 seasons ago gets more of a storyline than him. Denny will be there, at least, to the end of Feb. sweeps.

TR has to stay because without him the show will lose it's MAGIC (=MeredithAlexGEORGEIzzieCristina)
...or at least more than they've already did after killing Gizzie for no reason and by that implausible reason (no chemistry- are you kiddin'?!--> hot sex scene & definetely hot kiss in the elevator)
...but killing the George/Izzie friendship was the BIGGEST mistake the creators did... giving George no storyline AT ALL just shows how bad the show I used to call my absolute fav TV show have gotten
...TR is my absolute fav character together with Izzie and if any of them exit I'm gone too, cos they're the reason I got hooked on the show and otherwise nothing would keep me...
Shonda please don't ruin the show for me...you'll lose not only me but certainly a HUGE amount of fans all over the world...just like here in Europe
Please bring the George/Izzie-relationship back we ALL love!!!!

I actually kinda hope George leaves. Don't get me wrong, I like George. But if TR wants to leave then he wants to leave, it's not as though he's being fired. And I certainly don't like the sound of more last-minute re-writes. Especially when it takes away from MerDer time, which I'm sure it will.

I don't think this has anything to do with Isaiah. Isaiah's just a douche, but I don't think he's in on this. Seems a little too comic booky for my taste... But the theory is sorta funny LOL. Super T to the rescue...

TR better stay. Did you guys see that *sshole IW saying it was time for TR to go with a big arrogant smirk on his face? I want TR to stay because I watch this show for George, I love TR and because I hate IW and wanted that arrogant smirk off his face.
Did his best buddy Shonda make a little promise to her IW that she was forecd to fire him, but one day she would treat TR so badly, she would force him to quit?
It makes me so GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Yes, I agree that Mer, George, Izzie, Cristina & Alex are the heart of Greys. I don't think it will work without one of them. And of the heart, my favorite is George, then Mer, then Izzie, then Cristina, then Alex. GREYS NEEDS GEORGE. And, to me, Izzie does not make any sense with out George. She's not as great a character without George. I can live w/o the Gizzie romance (b/c I have to), but it makes NO SENSE that Gizzie are not acting like best friends-- they've had barely any interaction at all. They are each other's persons and their friendship is just this perfect crazy mix of sweet, funny, challenging-- it's pure character magic! They are simply meant to be each other's person. And they are each a better character for it.
I really hope that ABC and Shonda and writers are giving incentive for TR to stay-- MORE SCREEN TIME, MORE GIZZIE FRIENDSHIP, A GEORGE STORYLINE and that now TR is considering staying.
Shonda, we all want to see more George! TR wants to play Geo

This is what Grey's Anatomy was ORIGINALLY about:
Five interns being friends and their lives inside and outside the hospital. Their journey from internship to residency, and everything else.
Grey's Anatomy. GRAY'S Anatomy, the medical book? What the show is named after? There's a character named Meredith Grey AND Lexie Grey.
The show is not about Meredith. It's about the original five interns.
But if you wanna get technical, it was about the original FOUR interns: Meredith, George, Izzie and Cristina. They needed an extra male to be an asshole since George was the sensitive, sweet guy. Except Alex is sorta different now, but as long as he's a prick to George I'll have issues with him.
George is indeed the heart of the show. So is Izzie, Meredith, Cristina and Alex. Because the show is ABOUT THEM. Now they're playing with the big kids and they're giving time to the moron babies we don't care about. We each have a favorite "heart of the show", mine is George. When your hea

So T.R. Knight did what Heigl did over the summer. Know he'll get a major love story just like Heigl and will take up the rest of the screen time. Maybe they'll bring back George's dad or something.
If Knight meant what he said and wants to leave then he should leave. Be a man instead of blackmailing the writers for more storylines.

OK so to me Meredith and George are the heart of the show and if Grey loses just ONE of them, I am gone. That means if they let George go, I am done.
I want George to get love too. I adore him with both Izzie and Lexie, especially Izzie. Gizzie will always be my OTP, but I am fine with getting him a new love.
Maybe someone outside the hospital?
And I absolutely want the beautiful wonderful friendship with George and Izzie back if we can't have them as a couple. That friendship is the purest, sweetest, most beautiful on all of TV.
So more more George, get him to stay please or my heart will break and yep more MerDer too.

While I don't agree that George is the heart and soul of the show (or else it would be called O'Malley's Anatomy) I do think that losing the main cast members is a tragedy for a show, and the beginning of the end. Since I certainly don't want that to happen, I hope he stays around and gets some more interesting stories. Him and Lexie friends/roomies/more and the friendship between George and Izzie really needs to come back. I LOVED that relationship. It is beautiful. Speaking of the heart and soul of the show, WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR MER/DER SCENES! Give us something good, come on!
