I totally agree with number 2 ! And number 5 . (I agree with most of the other ones to but 2 & 5 really hit it on the head) I'm loving that were finally learning more about Mark aswell as the other characters. It's nice to finally see some backstory on these guys. We also really need some MerDer love. Lately it's a kiss here and there and just them lying in bed. Their finally together is nothing is happening, I wanna see abit more.

Word to all of it.
1. He's one of the original cast members. I say axe Sadie and cut some Lexie time and return George to where he belongs: on screen. George isn't my favorite but he HAS to come back.
2. I love Alex and Mark (Hunt...not so much) so take some time to develop them, especially Mark. He has been adorable all season and needs some background. Also, let's put Derek in this category since he has been sorta left out this season as well. McDreamy and McSteamy have the best lines :).
3. I hate two-part episodes because they leave me all stressed out but I have to say that they do work. I didn't like the "Crash Into Me" episodes (cough *plant* cough) but I enjoyed the bomb and Mer drowning.
4. I actually agree on this. They should say that the show is going to end like in season 10 and move the storylines instead of going along. I have to say that I've enjoyed ER a lot more since they set the end date: March 12, 2009. It's hard to say goodbye but at least it gives y

Number 1 is they have to do anything they can to hang on to my George. He is why I watch. I want to see him more with Bailey and Izzie and Mer. I want the Lexie thing to be addressed. I want George and Owen to have more scenes together. I love them.
They just need to do whatever they can to keep George on the show.

Hi everyone, I am from overseas and haven't seen Season 5 yet but I am so disappointed about what I am hearing about my favourite show. While I can't comment on new episodes, it's a no brainer where Merder togetherness is concerned... More more more please ! These two rock. I was sick recently and caught up with GA boxsets and was reminded what an excellent show it has been, so hopefully it can get back to it's former glory.

ITA with Diane...the past two seasons have been disappointing, and so is this one.
It's too bad really, because we all love this show, but it hurts to watch something this ridiculous.

I agree MnM, there are very stupid people in the world. I can't believe in 2008, people still bash someone for their sexual preference. Someone on ABC said something like you gays always whine or something, and she is a George fan who wants him to stay but she still thinks that.
I hate that TR has to live through that and I can't help wondering if the reason he doesn't get a love interest is because some people can't accept a gay man playing straight.
TR to me is the best actor on the show and George is my favorite. I wish we could make Shonda see how much we love him.

If they bring Burke back, I am done with the show. Are you kidding me? Do you think people would be happy if TR leaves because they treated him so badly and then they bring back the loser who forced him to come out and exposed him to the ignorant losers from the comments posted above?
That would be the worst slap in the face to TR, especially since Shonda didn't even defend him when IW attacked him, and to all his fans.
They wouldn't hear the end of it, especially since most of the cast hates IW, including PD who he insulted and is very much still on the show.
I agree with the list, especially more MerDer and more of our George.

BTW where do those comments come from? Homophobes are us.dot.com. Do they even know Mark to call him silly and all kind of names?
If anyone is not a drama queen and a diva it is TR, but I do find it funny those words are often associated with gay people, showing the homophobia in the comments. If anyone was a drama queen it was IW but he is straight so none of those sites would ever call him that. This seems to come from the same site that call TR Katie's bitch instead of his best friend.
There is a lot of filth on the Net and we don't need to be posted here, a respectable web site. I guess the original poster is a homophobe too and was dying to post that filth.

I agree with absolutely everything on the list, especially number 1. Without George, the show doesn't have a soul.
I do agree they have to have George win at least once. I hate that they humiliate George all the time. He is a great doctor and he proved it many times, including with the little boy this year and in that elevator, let him shine. Let him have a relationship that works, preferrably with Izzie.
Of all the characters, George deserves the most to be happy.
Are we suppose to take those disgusting nasty comments seriously and what is up with bashing the guy's boyfriend? I don't like all the homophobic undertones I am picking from those messages and shame on MnM for posting that trash.

What do I think? Most of those hateful comments seem from 14-year old homophobes. It is filth and why you felt the need to give those idiots more attention is beyond me.
I know those sites. Those are sites that call TR a pedophile for dating a younger guy but of course if that was a woman or a man dating someone from the opposite sex that was younger, they would find it cool, like they find Mexie cute on Grey.
Do we really need homophobes losers to be given more attention than they deserve?
Most people love George and TR and want him to stay.
To us, he is the heart and soul of this show.

1.George was never that strong of a character, he was the underdog...so idk if it's worth saving him only to make him the underdog of 2nd year interns. I love him, but the writers made a lot of mistakes with his storyline: marrying Callie out of the blue, cheating on her with Izzie, the bad sex he had with Izzie, failing his intern exam, being blinded to see Lexie's interest in him. I can understand Knight bc no actor as talented as he is should be given that much bad luck for the duration of the WHOLE ENTIRE SHOW.
2. I love how we are seeing a more sensitive side of Karev and Sloan. I didn't like Hunt at first, but it made more sense to bring in someone new for Cristina. And she needs someone who can be rude and nice at the same time.
3. I never liked the to be continued episodes. I'm all for a 2 hour season premiere, but I would spend all week stressing over it and I just know I would be disappointed when it finally aired.

I'm sorry but there is no way to fix this show; they're just at the point of no return. The writers have been messing up our favorite characters, and insulting our intelligence with ridiculous storylines. At this point, I find myself watching my GA DVD sets; since the last two seasons have been a total disaster. I check back now and then to see if there is a glimpse of hope with that storyline, and I keep being dissapointed. Just pull the plug already. The show is dead.
