Share Your Favorite Memories of George
T.R. Knight's impending departure from Grey's Anatomy may not have come as a huge surprise to some fans, but it has caused many of us sadness and confusion. Whether you love him or hate him, T.R. left an indelible mark on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. George O'Malley.
When a cast member leaves the series, it is forever altered - even more so in the case of an original, fundamental part of the fabric we've come to call Seattle Grace.
So many bungled decisions, so many funny comments, so many bad haircuts. It's gonna be hard to say goodbye to George (even if the writers basically already have).
Will Grey's Anatomy be worse off when T.R. Knight bows out (presumably this winter)? How should his character be written off the series? What will you miss most about George? What were some of your favorite episodes and scenes involving him?

I love that he is clueless at times. I get like that too. That makes him human. Of all the characters, he is the one I relate the most to, he just can't leave us.

Yeah, that would be his dream of taking a shower with Mer, Christina and Izzie...he was close, he slept with two of the with disastrous consequences of course.
Or when he was running from Mer and fell down the stairs...Callie had to fix his shoulder and gave him a haircut.
And when Alex called him "Sypph-boy"...that was cute, "A superhero but diseased"...
He was a pretty cool character, just he gets a little annoying sometimes...undecided about which girl to be with, clueless...oblivious.

He is one of the team and he belongs there.

My favorite--
When Izzie was so overwhelmed about Hannah being there, seeing Hannah, finding out that Hannah was so sick, knowing that Hannah's adoptive parents were asking her to donate bone marrow and finding out that Hannah did not want to meet her at all. And George being so mad at Izzie and wanting to stay away from her and do the right thing and be with his wife. When he walked out, TR was so amazing that my heart broke into a million pieces. I was crying. And then, when George walked back in to be with Izzie, his person. THAT was my favorite George moment. And don't think that's easy-- for me to say that was my favorite b/c there are so many!!
Our Georgie-- what will we do w/o him? TR's light just shines right into the character of George-- an awesome character to begin with, but with TR playing him... he's been so amazing.
My second favorite George moments were when his Dad was sick and died.

george :'( this sucks! i get that he has had some crappy scenes for while, but i really wish this wasn't the end. who the hell cares if hes gay?! hes still a great actor

I don't want him to leave GREYS!! i'll be so mad and disappointed if he does.
George is by far the best character in greys and it would be a huge lost to the show!! I won't watch it anymore without George.
I won't ever be the same without him around. being all sweet and charming n hilarious. sigh. Missing Bambi already.
