I don´t understand this guy. I guess fame and fortune goes to the head... ok, you want to leave, be my guest, I just think is a very unwise decision, he made a name for himself in this show, I hope he keeps rising as an actor, but this could very easily mean the end of his career... I hope it isn´t, but this Grey´s Anatomy characters are very ungrateful, none of them were famous before and now they think they are better off... classic

I always found George to be very attractive. And, in all honesty, I think he's better looking than the McDudes and Alex. He looks younger and has a cute babyface. So, the McDudes and Alex will need botox while George won't. Haha.

Burke was a boring pompous ass. George is all light and sweetness and is so funny. I want my sweet wonderful George back.
I don't blame him though. They never gave him any respect. They treat him like a second-rate comic relief banana when we all know how talented he is.
I am never watching Grey again.

George was not a wimp. This is the guy who stood up to0 the chief to get a second chance at an exam, the guy who did open heart surgery by himself, the guy who got Bailey to give birth, the one that protected Tuck from bailey and her husband fighting.
George was always there for the people he loevd, unconditionally, like when he got Richard to let M'eredith take the exam again.
Shy and sweet doesn't mean wimp.
Alex who treats people like dirt and can't even face what is going on with Izzie and gets abusive is way more of a wimp.
George is the heart of this show. People love him.
I have been looking for an excuse to leave the show, and now I have it.
There is no point in watching without my George.

I find it funny looking back at old interviews the cast did back in seasons one and two and how happy and excited they all were. They all said how awesome it was and how the cast all got along so great now, Isaiah's gone, Katie wants out, TR wants out, who's next?
If them three are/will be gone, the only original people left are Ellen, Sandra, Justin, Chandra, James Pickens, and Patrick.
It kind of bugs me when actors go against the shows that made them who they are. Who heard of Katherine Heigl before Grey's? anyone? How about T.R. Knight? Didn't think so. I'm just speaking as an actress here, but if I got a big break like them, I'd milk it for as long as I could.

GA's still my favorite show, but if George leaves there will be a big empty hole.
Burke leaving didn't bother me at all. But George leaving will be devastating.

No we ddin't lose Burke bacsue of him. We lost Burke because IW is an arrogant, self-centered, whiny cry-baby sexist pig who can't shut the hell up and because all the women on the show hated him so much, they wanted him gone.
This is the same loser who made fun of PD for being a dyslexic.
TR was a total class act during the whole thing.
I am sick and tired of the homophobes making the victim the bad guy because of their 1950s prejudices.
You guys are why we lost Brooke and are now losing TR, TR the heart and soul of this show.
There is a reason IW has not been able to find work, because he has 11 years of bad PR in this business and people who hate his arrogant gut.
TR was loved by all his colleagues, all his crew and most of the fans, the non-homophobic ones, and I will leave when he does.
Good-bye Grey, your days are numbered.

Radiohead: It's hard to say, because they never really gave him much to work with. His character got the shit end of everything. He's been broken. After T.R. leaves, I won't be surprised if this show doesn't last for another season or two. And to be honest, I don't even give a damn. I've always watched for him because he's the most real character on there, and I really do love T.R. and his acting. He's so talented. He is, in fact, too good for this show.
Burke was always blah and boring to me. He wasn't interesting. His screen time is used as a bathroom break for me. And as far as Isaiah Washington goes, he's a complete ass.

Well.. that's bad =( George's my favourite character and I'll really miss him =( At least it's not another one of Shonda's or ABC's stupid ideas and he's leaving because he wants to. But Shonda would better make those last George scenes worth watching!

I love it.The weakest character was always George.The most glory seeking,storyline digging,shit stirring backstage worker=T.R.
Because of him we lost Burke.And ok Washington displayed a complete lack of intelligence with how he dealt with the situation,but we know T.R. had a hand in his firing.Also,in the most basic terms,Burke or George?Burke all the way with me.
Also,this thing about losing too many origanl characters,E.R. kept on going for years despite finishing without any of the origanal cast so that doesn't wash.You can only take characters so far after 5 seasons,and George has been married,divorced,had affairs,and lost a father,so really what is left?

So do we think he is leaving b/c of Isiah and also b/c ABC execs let go of Brook Smith b/c they weren't into the the gay story line? Just asking b/c it seems the writers are trying to push a gay story line but the execs are comfortable with it. Maybe he is fed up?! Shonda needs to reel it back in she is trying to dip her hand into to many story lines and the none of them are very good she is going to lose more cast members this way and more viewers. Private Practice has gotten better and now grey's in suffering she needs to come up with a better plan!

I guess whatever makes T.R. happy. I'm not even a regular viewer of the show, but it still shocked and upset me to hear he was leaving. His character's story line was one of the more realistic and unpredictable ones, in my opinion.
Whatever makes him happy, though.
