I think that Pompeo is pregnant but because of Shonda's promises Callie will be pregnant in the serial not Meredith.
The pictures with children are difficult and the cast want to make
their life easier.
So there could be talk about babies and the characters could pretend working in that direction but there will not be MerDeR babies.

McNorway...I was trying to be nice ;). Truth: I didn't like Mer that much until the end of season 4 and right now in S.5.
JMS, Ellen wasn't the one who asked for a raise, it was Katherine Heigl. She wanted to earn the same as Ellen (and Patrick I believe) and she got turned down because she wasn't the lead. Thank God for that.

okay the clinical trial was a new way to "zap" inoperable tumors, such as the one addison's brother has. which is probably why she called derek. he had told her about it last time she was there, and she probably read about when it was a magazine cover story.
as for the baby talk, no idea. that is probably something we will have to watch to find out.(unless the want to be nice and give us more videos.)

Mer is looking tired. I wonder if she has missed her cycle and doesn't realize she may or may not be pregnant. This calls for a very funny, serious moment scene with CRISTINA right about now.!!! When does season 5 end? If it ends in a few months then... This will probably be the cliff hanger. (the pregnancy)
Oh heavens, are the actors going on strike in the next few months?? Anything about SAG voting???

We all know who is going to run their mouth about the proposal, Mark!!! I just don't get what that look was about after Der said "I thought I could trust you". And since Mark doesNOT know when to keep his mouth SHUT, he will definietly tell Lex. Well we all know she CAN'T keep her MOUTH SHUT either.!!! Oh, wait yes she can, She NEVER told the chief the TRUTH about Cristina NOT KNOWING the interns were doing the surgery!!
I wanted this proposal to be an award winning scene, but I guess Shonda is writing this part so, there goes any ROMANCE!!!

Makes me wonder if they just jumped into the show and have not seen all the way back from the beginning. Cuz if you have seen since S1E1, how could you not LOVE MerDer??)

fans and even the critics are tired of the typical relationship on-again/of-again ... we saw that in the ratings of season 4. The fans want to see a couple like in real life, working together in the ups and downs that the relationships have. i really hope shonda stops with the relationships back and forth, this is very bored of seeing and it is already an old history...

I totally disagree about a MerDer marriage killing the show, the drama and that it should only come at the final moment-- a series finale sometime down the road. Totally disagree. I think there's a new movement in drama shows, such as Greys, to go into uncharted territory--- keeping the happy couple together and committed. I hate bringing up other shows on a Greys fan site, but here is an example-- One Tree Hill has put Lucas and Peyton together for good finally! Have they been boring? Anything BUT! Just like Shonda & Co. are doing with MerDer, the couple is together and committed to each other and the storyline follows their ups and downs. Now, I could see how you might think it was going to be boring if you assumed that MerDer being married and together forever as being simply a blissful happy ever after. But that is not the plan here. I believe the writers plan was to get away from the old writing standard of keeping the couple apart and keeping the fans yearnin

Even if the proposal happens, it doesn't mean a marriage will happen. Personally, I don't think the proposal will happen. As a screenwriter's point of view, it's a better story having Meredith and Derek apart or just dating. Even if they do get engaged or married, it will fall apart at some point. I'm not against Meredith and Derek as a couple, but the show would be ruined if they end up happily ever after now. This should happen in the Series Finale.
In respect to the comments about the focus being on Meredith because of the show's title, the series is ensemble show. When Ellen Pompeo made a request for more pay because she considered herself the lead character, she was turned down.

I made a mistake i think it is Owen's exgirlfriend not fiance. I also read somewhere that someone on the show said that the part where merder hug in the promo is right after he proposes. But I'm not sure if that is true.

iloveaddie&callie, McNorway, I'm totally in your team. I know the show is called "grey's anatomy" but there is so much more. I absolutely love Owen and Cristina, their story is so deep and complex. Which is why they should have a good amount of screentime. Last episode it was a total of a little over 2 minutes. AFTER THE SHOWERSCENE!!! WTH?
And what about Callie? Sara Ramirez is along Sandra Oh the best actress on the show and gets lately so little attention and crappy storylines. It's a shame.
YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES a million more times...I LOVE SARA RAMIREZ soooo much and the fact that she had what 7 seconds of screentime last episode was UNEXCEPTABLE! she us Super talented!

How can some of you hate Meredith Grey? She is the clue to the show. Without her there would be no show to watch!!! At the beginning of this season there was very little meredith and Derek scenes and everybody was begging for more of them. Welll, we all got more of them. Why complain about this show? All the storylines are coming together and they are getting interesting. Just wait and see what happens. I think half of the grey's anatomy fan club are getting excited for this Proposal to happen on Thursday night. so you all just need to hang in there!!!

well u know how archer(addies brother) has an inoperabal brain tumor? well thats what meredith and dereks clinical trial was all about and it works! so thats probably why addie is taking archer to Seattle Grace.
and as for the babies thing in the beginning of the first sneak peek derek says that he and mer were talking about babies and he said that merediths not afraid and that shes ready.

I have questions...What are you guys talking about when you say the clinical trial has meaning? When do they talk about the clinical trial? What was Derek talking about when he was talking about babies?
I'm so happy about the proposal and I think there will be drama about it but thats Grey's Anatomy! I think Addie will support the proposal and help Derek.
I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me please!! :)
