I really liked the episode! Loved the scenes with Mer and the killer.
Omg! And I got sad when Izzie 'broke up' with Denny. Thought it was sad. And I bet I know what Denny 'talks to Alex about. I bet he mentions the anerysm and stuff.
And in the preview! It looks like Izzie slaps Denny! I'm really wondering why! Omg! I can't wait!!! Something must be happening soon!

Boy! Shonda is really good with these cliff hanger episodes! You don't mention ring and Meredith in the same sentence and THEN end the episode...What's that about??
I loved how Christina told Meredith her thoughts on her pony tail...I hope those two on the way to fixing their problems. I don't think Meredith or Christina can live without one another.
It makes me think that next week's epidode "Stairway to Heaven", Derek goes to Christina's apartment to tell her that he is giving Meredith a ring and wants her blessing.
The episode was really great and Derek's mother was great. It's too bad that she and Meredith didn't hit it off that well, but she knows that Meredith is the one for Derek and pretty much gave him her blessing. I just hope that Meredith doesn't freak out when he gives her the ring!

This is the show we fell in love with! The passion, the drama, the twisted scenarios! This is what made Grey's our favorite show. Def one of the best in a while!

wow, this episode was soooo good. so much better than i expected.
i loved the scene with derek, his mom and the ring, and the owen/cristina scene in the shower, and finally, after sitting through stupid izzie/denny scenes, it all meant something at the end, when she broke up with him. i also really liked the part when alex told izzie about vacation plans, and even though she's still crazy, im glad that this storyline is finally moving forward. oh, and i really liked it when mark told callie to walk tall, they make a great team, as friends, or as a couple. either way i'm happy. and i really liked the serial killer story, it was so intense at the end!
i just realized that i pretty much just summarized the entire episode...haha o well. i love the whole thing!!!! i cant wait for next week, it looks really good and intense.

I am so happy this show is starting to get back on track. I LOVED this episode. I was doubtful of Owen before but this episode... wow. I loved Derek's mom, she was really funny. Next episode looks really intense. Can't wait!

Just finished watching. I can't even express how much this episode moved me. Owen Hunt has been one of my new favorites since he first started on the show. The way he portrays his character is so true and powerful that it tears me apart. I want everyone to understand that that is the reality for every single soldier who comes back home. The damage to their mind, to their spirit, to their soul, is immeasurable. They need help and support and love. And so many of them are to afraid of being stigmatized to reach out. And so yet another soldier takes their own life. My former fiance has been discharged for 5 months. Six of his friends and comrades have taken their lives since then. Please find ways to help and support the soldiers, former soldiers, and military families in your area. Please reach out. Thank you.

I felt like everything was just... perfect (well, not quite).

OMG.
So this episode was amazing.
can i just say that i love every scene Cristina and Owen are in together. They have amazing chemistry, and I have a feeling that this relationship is going to last.
And Derek's mom is amazing. I hope we get to see more of her. I knew she'd be okay with Meredith. I had that feeling that it would be good. It made my heart happy when she told Derek she was the one. I also love the fact that Derek was married before, to Addison, but his mom never gave him that ring for Addison, but she did for Meredith. So perhaps their relationship will last because of this hint.
And I really want to know what Denny was going to say to Alex. Hopefully it show's it next week.

Wow, tonight was GREAT!! Derek's mom was great, Owen won me over, and I really felt heartbroken for Alex and Izzie. And next week looks insane! It's the first time in a long time that i really enjoyed every part of Grey's!

I love Tyne Daly (Derek's mom actress) and can't wait for this eppy. I think she'll get along great with Meredith, because after all, she did raise some pretty great kids, so she must be pretty great herself. So glad to see more about Derek's past history and looking forward to this relationship with his mom. I think this will really go towards making Derek and Meredith's relationship whole again and Meredith could certainly use some motherly advice about the whole upcoming nupitals!

I think that she will eventually collapse or pass out(izzie that is), and it will lead to a cat scan of her head, and then maybe it will all make sense, i dont know im DYING to know how this izzie/alex/denny storyline will pan out!
