I did like how Blair said that Chuck was dead to her when in fact it's not even true....when she was passed the blueberries or whatever berries after she said that you could tell she was still upset. Glad Harold mentioned Chuck...heck, good that he knows about him, right?

i was so proud of chuck in this episode!!! i loved it when he saved lily. and now that he's back with the family, hopefully things can start moving forward with blair. keeping my fingers crossed! also, i can't wait for blair to take down that bitch teacher... because you KNOW she will

Chuck was really sweet in this episode, he showed his true colors ( in my opinion) I really hope him and blair can become friends again and then get back together! Although the show would be a bit boring without them going back and forth and driving us crazy. I also hope dan doesn't hook up with the bitchy teacher. And I really hope they tell us soon what fricken happend on new years with Jack and Blair!

aaw, this was a great episode! chuck was so sweet... and it was fun seeing blair and chuck acting childish again.
"crash jack in a plane" lol, that was so funny.
This episode was amazing! This is like one of my favs so far in this Season! (Right behind The Dark Knight! Lol) but i loved seeing Chuck develop into a more mature person! Kudos for him! Oh and for the writers for finally giving us a little less drama! But I HATE Ms. Carr in this episode! Grr I hope Blair kicks her butt!

I'm really giddy still over the episode. Thank you writers for redeeming Chuck slightly. Yay!!! Dude's all talk..he says he doesn't want Lily in his life and then he basically knocks the door down and comes to her rescue, concerned and caring of Lily's welfare. Love it!

Seriously.... when do these kids have time to get perfect grades in school????? (I realize that maybe they are just handed to them, "free pass" style) but even still, Blair earning a B on her own is pretty unrealistic considering the amount of time we see these "students" scheming, partying, going out, not studying etc. (of course that would make for a boring show! but still!) real people (even on the UES) are not all born beautiful AND rich AND smart AND get what they want!! not fair for the rest of us average ppl.

I totally agree with you VV! I was so upset that they didn't show a promo! Besides the episode on mondays, i get really excited about the promos too. The writers are messing with our minds. Is there a reason why there is no new episode next week!!?? I mean, there isn't a holiday or anything that they would need to take a break for....so...

I absolutely loved Chuck in this performance. He was such a sweetie pie. i Really liked how he was so nice to Rufus after he was adopted. hey a handshake is a start!
and I was so happy when he beat up jack for lily. that was so out of character and so...sweet...that it was touching.

Lindsay333 -- lol yeah now that I think about it I wouldn't mind having Jack come back. He probably will he's too much the "bad guy" to just give up and stay in Australia.
I thought this was a solid Gossip Girl episode, and more something that you would see first season.
I think that Dan and Serena need to get over the whole LR thing - at this point, so what - as long as say S isn't L&R's kid together it's all good and not that big of deal? (Like other people have said, they totally didn’t grow up in the same house or anything like that!)
If L&R actually decide to merge households, that would be a bit odd, but Little J and Eric act related practically already, and Serena and Dan would be off at college theoretically or old enough to get their own place.
(Also L&R have almost been an issue for them from day one, and it seems like the fire in Derena’s relationship is pretty dead right now and they are just going through the motions at this point ... so maybe they should move on for a long long long while and stop yo-yo dating – they seem more co-dependent than in love!)

rufus and lily are sooo ANNOYING. I'm so tired of seeing them together. The whole parent plots thing is boring. I am dying to see when Chuck says "Blair wouldn't touch you." I am guessing he'd probably say that to Jack, but Jack got sent back to Sydney so...? I hope its not a deleted scene.
I was so sad when Blair ran past Chuck in tonight's episode. They seriously need to get together. They are whats holding viewers. I heard something about Nate and Blair getting back together. That better not be true. I'd cry my head off. If they seriously end Chair like they did last week, I am pretty sure they would lose viewers. Me possibly...
However, I don't think they would build up the relationship of chair like that and just ignore it.

I'm so upset cause im pretty sure its over for Dan and Serena....WTF why can't they just make it work...like enough with the awkwardness and the stupid new teacher storyline....and CHAIR needs to be together but im afraid they won't because i think Nate will end up with Blair....btw Nate and Vanessa super boring...Best line, "Cancel the Nelly Yuki Project"..LMAO...OMG and lily and rufus (disgusting), grow up already like you're ruining your childrens' lives you had your chance already...and yeah im pretty upset that there was no promo for Feb. 2...

This episode was'nt my favorite but it was good..Im starting to love Chuck more and more especially after tonight and what he did for Lily and hes gunna move back...Am I the only one who thought Blair was being a btch and not even saying anything to Serena after she decided not to go to Yale and let her have it..The Whole Lily and Rufus thing really turns my stomach they had there chance and they need to get over it..I noticed these past few episodes that Rufus is being a complete jerk to Dan like its just about him and what he wants and he dont care about his son..Rufus doesnt even look at him or say anything to him at the Palace before D and S left for school..Im just really getting sick of rufus and Lily.The writers should make Dan propose to Serena that would make for an interesting storyline...

dude the GG writers are so mean!!! they didnt even give us a promo for carrnal knowledge. in the past even when it skiped a week until a new episode, they still would give a promo
for example: after the "Serena also rises" episode there was a one week break before they showed "New haven can wait" yet they STILL showed a promo for it.
This time nothing =(
hahaha.. and yes the blair running in the backround while chuck at the bar was cute! gosh.... but the whole time i was hoping he would turning around and spot blair and have a "moment"

I was torn with this episode.
I have quite a tolerance for Blair but she really frustrated me tonight. Honestly, she deserves the repercussions of her actions (plus, it'll make this war dynamic a little more interesting). I'm pretty apathetic towards Serena, but I felt really terrible for her when she told Blair that she gave up her spot at Yale; Blair didn't really seem grateful!! It was never really established how Serena felt about her acceptance at Yale as a public relations scheme; this is something she should have totally told Dan! It's a valid reason for not attending Yale! Oh, Serena.
I'm a big Chair fan, and I'm accepting of the lack of Chair focus because they each have their own priorities; I'm not worried about them coming together in the end. I squeeled when I saw Blair dashing through the opera house while Chuck stood by the bar. This was my favorite scene, aside from Eric trying to explain the many complex layers of opera to Rufus. That was killer. I'm glad to see
i was sooo.. diappointed by this episode. =[
when are we gonna hear the "blair would never touch you?" if jacks gone? im gonna be sooo pissed if it was cut out bc thats was like the one thing driving everyone crazy!

But i am so mad about why GG hasn't released any new spoilers or even a promo on the next new episode...i don't really understand

Yeah right?!?! I totally agree, they OBVIOUSLY showed the scene b/n Blair and Jack and then now, Poof! it escaped into thin air. I agree with you it will mos.def. be brought up later on...but it wouldve made more sense to reveal it while Jack was still here I would think it adds to the drama - this is why I *think Jack might come back (but who knows) OR they could just have Blair/Chuck talk about it and be resolved.
As for the fan reaction - I thought it was in favour of bringing Jack back! lol Yes, how dare he mess with Blair/Chuck but I thought he played a really awesome villain and I thought fans agreed?
AGAIN, please anyone that knows where this ep is going to be posted first - PLEASE let me know!!!

I have a feeling that Serena was going to break up with Dan when she called him at the end. I was really hoping that they would make it this time, but it looks like it's not going to happen. Dan and Serena are the only reason I watch the show.
