A: Looks like Lucas' movie is going to get shut down. :(

As far as whether the show itself will be shut down after this, the current Season Six, odds are that it will carry on. However, all the cast members have six-year deals and will require new contracts. Creator Mark Schwann has asked the CW to pick it up or cancel it early enough for him to wrap the series up if needed, and a decision is expected soon.
