The loss of Pushing Daisies is a gain for Heroes.

Now that the former show has (tragically) gotten the axe from ABC, one of its stars will be guest-starring on the struggling NBC drama.

Entertainment Weekly reports that Swoosie Kurtz will appear on an April episode of Heroes. She'll play Millie, an old society friend of Angela Petrelli's.

This casting coincides with Bryan Fuller's return to Heroes, as the writer left to create Pushing Daisies, but is now returning to help his first show fulfill its first season promise.

"Bryan wrote the part specifically for her," said a Kurtz' spokesperson of her character. "It's a really fun role."
