Taylor Momsen: Almost Famous Back Home
Although Gossip Girl gets a ton of publicity and its ratings have gone up a bit in its sophomore season, it's certainly bigger in New York than anywhere else.
Taylor Momsen apparently learned this back home in her native Maryland.
A New York Post spy reports that the teen starlet was at Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge, an eatery in Rockville, Md., close to where her family lives outside D.C.
There, the star who plays Jenny Humphrey "was having dinner with her dad," said the source, "and a lot of people were there, but nobody recognized her."
Even so, when the 15-year-old actress/model got up to leave, the fellow diner said, "Taylor made a huge scene covering her face and trying to duck behind her dad ... even though nobody in the restaurant seemed to notice her."
A far cry from having your photo taken every single day while you're on the set - or even riding the subway - and having it posted online, Gossip Girl style!

I go to a school near Churchill, the school Taylor is enrolled in. I have never personally met her, but many of my close friends have and they have said that she's rude and acts superior to everyone else. I'm not saying that this is a fact; i've never met her. Also, I've been to Clydes, and it's a fairly big restaurant thats gets busy, especially this time of year. It's no wonder no one happened to see her. And nearly every teenage girl (and most guys) watch Gossip Girl religiously here, so I'm sure that if the restaurant was less crowded, she would have had hordes of people recognize her.

If i saw her i wouldn't care, mainly because i dont care for her. if her autographs worth money then i would consider asking her to sign something.

God, listen people, even if she did do those things, it is none of anyone's business anyway. I don't understand why so many people have to act so worked out & make a big deal about this.

People have to learn not to believe everything they read on the net. Just because someone says it doesn't mean it's true. Even if it's true, one doesn't need to have people pestering you to feel uncomfortable. Having lots of people glance your way every so often would be enough.
Alternatively, maybe she's like any 15-year-old and simply embarrassed to be seen with her dad.

recognizing someone is different from caring. people couldve vaguely known her and still continued with their dinner. 99% of people arent crazies. diners arent paparazzi. theyre just gonna be like, ok, whatever. If I were in the restaurant I wouldnt have approached her. I mean, what would have been the point?

if a so called "fellow diner" noticed her, i am sure "tons of other ppl in the restaurant" were playing it cool.
besides, taylor is not dumb. she wouldn't go to a restraunt full of teens -_-
it might be one of those small restraunts where alots of grannies and gramps eat.

What an awful post trying to get hate on for Taylor.
We are fans here so I doubt most of us want to read negative stuff about these actors.
