Executive producer Todd Kessler has a message for fans of Damages:

Ratings, shmatings!

As told to Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly, Kessler said FX has assured him that the show will remain the air for at least a third season.

"No one is saying we need to look at the numbers before we move forward with a third season. [FX president] John Landgraf has said he hopes the show will be on for many more seasons. People can change their minds, [but] Glenn Close is contracted for six seasons. We hope we can do at least six seasons."

Awesome. Those are the sort of Damages spoilers we can get behind!
