greystreet: I am thinking the same exact thing, because they came out with spoilers a while ago saying that she finds things out about her fiance, I don't think it would say that if they weren't engaged!!

At first I knew that the proposal will be the Season finale. That's just what Grey's Anatomy does! He asks her, you see her shocked/baffled face and they cut to credits then make you agonize all summer. RRRRRRRGGHHHHH!

You know the proposal is going to be the season finale...its how Grey's is. Der will get on one knee, ask Mer to marry him, she will have an "oh my gosh!" look on her face so we have no idea what she thinks or will say and then it'll fade to black.
I think it'd be kinda cute to see Der spew over it and want to get it just right...b/c roses and candlelight is romantic, but Der can do much better. I think we as die-hard fans deserve better. Yay, only 3 more days!

I think the proposal it going to be dragged out until later in the season. That's what Shonda made it seem like in that article in tv guide.

I have a feeling he proposing at Joe's too, after the whole speech with the characters last week getting engaged at a store where they first met. I can see Derek getting down on one knee at Joe's.....

I have always though Shonda brings in to many people for regular rolls. However I think Sam would make a great addition to Seattle Grace.

Bridget, I agree with you also. I think Mer will give Derek the confidence he needs to do this surgery. Is it Thurs. yet & when will we get back on track for the proposal? I hope he does at Joe's.

Bridget, I agree. As soon as I saw her face, I thought that. I think she's gonna suggest something about the clinical trial. Knowing Meredith she'll say it in front of Addison and Archer and Derek won't be too pleased!
But the Bailey/Sam scene made me laugh. As did the end of the Lexie/Mark one with Lexie suddenly shouting. I like them as a couple, Lexie's innocence mixed with Marks ways, just makes me smile.
