Rumor has it that former American Dreams actress Brittany Snow has been cast in the lead role of Lily van der Woodsen in the upcoming Gossip Girl spinoff.

This has not been confirmed by the CW or any of the show's producers as of this post, however, she has long been mentioned in discussions of the role.
