Yeah how about giving George a story? In seasons 3 and 4, we saw George evolve and grow up while still keeping his caring, lovable personality and his genuine empathy for others that make him such a lovable character.
Why couldn,t they continue on this way? I don't want to lose George. I adore him and TR, and there is so much untapped potential with him.
I would much more see what is going to happen to George than Lexie and all those new characters.
And for the last time, wanting your character to actually evolve and wanting more than 20 seconds per episode doesn't make you a diva.
Katie gets huge stories so you could call ehr that but George has been non existent and treated like crap by the writers for months now, how can anyone blanme TR for wanting more?

Yeah, i agree i love Izzie and i hate the fact she might be dying. I love George but it wouldn't be a shock with him gone because he has hardly been shown, but still!

I don't want Izzy to leave...she's one of the only reasons I watch the show...I absolutely love her...She's got talent!! She is a natural!!
In "Beat Your Heart Out", George appeared for abput 23 seconds. Prosentually, he was on screen for 0.910170162 percent.
I don't blame him for wanting out.
But still, I think he should wait for a good storyline. He can't be that ungrateful. And neither can Heigl, 'cause Shonda and all the other producers made them famous. Before Grey's Anatomy, I had never heard of TR, and I only saw Heigl in Roswell. Remember where you came from, divas!

Don't keep taking these guys off! Give them something interesting to do for heaven's sake! I hate that the whole feel of the show has changed and not for the better! I miss those good ole days and really don't care if I miss it or see it. BOO!

why talk about exit strategies, when nothing official has been stated?

Yeah, great idea, if it actually were addressed. But, since it never was because George is nonexistant now. It just would make no sense.

I see what you're saying about him not changing. They dealt him(george) bad cards all through season 3 & 4 and now they just ignore him.
Now they are taking on too many characters to give everyone a good story line. It's gonna turn into a prime time sopa opera and that sucks.

I actually think the army would be good for the character. It opens up the possibility for him to return with interesting character development. Frankly, George doesn't really work anymore because despite the stories he's had in the past, he really hasn't changed much from who he was in the first season.

Thank goodness they scraped that idea. I wouldn't call George one of my very fav's but it doesn't take a genius to see that George and the army don't mix.
Besides the lst spontaneous thing he did was get married in Vegas....and look how that turned out.

I have an even BETTER idea! GIVE HIM A STORY LINE! Instead of making him even MORE out of character and making him join the stupid army, let's give him a story line! It'll make T.R. happy, George AND T.R. fans happy, and all in all there'd be happiness.
