I hear ya, Nabou. What I would really want most is for Izzie to talk to George first too. But it seems that idea was shot down. I keep hoping Shonda & Co. will at least give us the Gizzie friendship back.

I agree with you on the theory of Izzie telling Der, though-- I really think she's been going about this as a doctor-- straight to the medicine, not that it hasn't been emotional for her, but she has attacked it pretty objectively-- bloodwork, scans, mole biopsy... she hasn't hesitated and seems to have quickly and objectively taken action and covered the bases to quickly find what's wrong with her. As she told Denny-- she WANTS to live. So, if the interns find something in the scans of "patient X"'s head, then I think she'll go straight to the best of the brain surgeons, regardless of what state he is in. And it will push him, and help him. How's he to say no to Izzie? And once Mer finds out, he won't be able to say no to Mer!
I don't think Izzie will die. I don't think KH is leaving.

Does anybody think that they are actually going to get RID of mcdreamy i mean oh my god what would this show be without mcdreamy?oh ya and izzie has an aneurysm so i think she will definatly confide in shepered first. Duh hes a world class neurosurgeon.And i read in the official mag,that they are not supposed to kill her off.

I really wish Shonda lets George be thhere for Izzie. Their friendship is about my most favorite thing in the show and I miss seeing my George so much.
IW is an idiot. TR is an amazing, sweet as pie guy with a huge heart and great talent.
We love TR, we do not love IW.

Being that spoilers say it's a surprise who Izzie tells first, I am thinking it would be Callie or Bailey. Maybe also Cristina, but I am betting more on one of the other two. The rest would really be too obvious. Alex, George or Meredith? Nooo, I don't think so. Can't wait!!!!!

Omg! Izzie is brilliant! The only thing that would make me even slightly not like her is how she was mean to Callie, ut thats it, how can you be happy she might go?

I think Izzie will tell Cristina. Cris and Izzie never really got the chance to be friends and there has always been bitterness between them of some unspoken kind. i would be surprised if she told cristina and i would like it very much too.
Or, like someone pointed out, she might tell Lexie, only because Lexi figured out that the scans were hers.
I highly doubt it's Derek when he's going through so much crap himself...

Interesting theory that Izzie will confide in Derek. Not a very far reach for Izzie, given who she is, and what state Der will be in and the nature (whatever that is for sure) of her illness-- not a far reach, but maybe not expected either. So maybe that's it.
But what I hope for most, is that she confides in George. I so miss their friendship. I was a little disappointed last epi that George didn't seem to be picking up on the fact that something major was going on with Izzie. George really would notice.
As for IW-- whoever brought that up, lay it to rest. The guy's an ignorant idiot.
And TR? Fabulous! We love you TR!!!!
I really miss George and Izzie as friends. I hope Shonda will let George be there for Izzie through this all.
!greys-- I'm getting the sense that Alex and Izzie aren't going to make it as a couple either. Funny, I was thinking about that earlier today and thinking that it was rather surprising that none of the AI fans have complained at all

I actually don't think that izzie is going to confide in derek...at all. unless she has a seizure and is rushed into surgery or something. i think she'll go to her boyfriend, alex first, or george. but for some reason i don't think alex and her are going to make it.

I miss George and Izzie's friendship too. The absence of it is wrong.
Isiaih got away with the name calling against TR. He was the one stupid enough to lie about it months after on the Golden Globes no less.
He deserves everything he got, and more.

If we're going to be surprised...
the only really surprising person I can think of is Callie. I doubt thats who she'll tell and I kind of hope Callie isn't first but if she is, I hope they become friends! I hate their hatred!

oh lisa, I bet you are right (maybe without meaning to be). Didn't they originally say that Denny would be back through March? I thought that was what I heard way back. I bet she calls him back to tell him what is wrong with her, and that she is following him into death, although I don't really think she will die, or I hope not anyhow!

Yeah, it would make sense for Izzie to tell Derek as he would be her doctor. But, I think that it would be awesome if Izzie confided in George (if thry were still bffs). I csn't wait! aia wish it would air, umm, NOW !!!

Oh please, IW is the only one that brought up the jealousy angle. That was one of his 500 different versions of the events. He changed his story so much, you had to take a journal to keep note of it all.
They asked PD about it when he was in Italy, about the TR being jealous of him rumor and trying to get more airtime and PD laughed about it and said it was the most ridiculous thing ever.
I met TR three times and I can tell you, every single time I tried to pay him a compliment, he would cut me short and tell me how great all his colleagues were.
The guy is the most modest person I know.
I am not surprised he remembered your name, Ryan.
A new journalist had talked to him for 2 minutes, one of about 50 journalists there and when TR saw him three hours later, he actually remembered his name.
This is the same guy who rarely does interviews because he can't believe anyone would find him interesting enough to want to know about him.

I think Mark will reach out to Derek, they are such good friends, and let's face it the fight only came about because of Derek's frustration over the last surgery. I think Derek just needs some fishing time on his land.
T.R. should stay he bring humour to the show and I love his interaction with Dr. Bailey.

I agree with anuflas. I really hope Derek and Mark make up, they're currently the cutest guy BFFs on the show.

I also think that Izzie might confide in Derek. Not so much because she already has her diagnosis but maybe because she seems to not be able to confide in anyone else for the time.
I also wonder if Mark is going to reach out to Derek in this tough time for Derek. This could be a good change for the fallout of that fight. I feel that Mark is going to get not enough praise since a lot of the staff is going to be worried about Derek's whereabouts.
Is bringing the issue of Washington's dismissal again? He practically asked for it. It's done.
