I've been ready for the two of them to leave for a while now. I find Kathryn Heigl incredibly annoying and George's character hasn't been remotely interesting for a long time. Good riddance!

I wish they would go ahead and kill off neurotic Izzy. Her character is sucking up very valuable air space. DIZZY's romance was stupid from the very beginning and oh (gasp. NOT) she doesn't have anemia. How lame? Are the writers of Grey's really getting paid or getting a little revenge for the compensation they didn't get during the writer's strike. Mark and Lexie? Seriously? Whatever. Who cares. The most interesting bit has been the Private Practice cross over and Cristina and incredibly screwed up Owen. George who? Oh the annoying guy that walks around the hospital that used to be a major character until he got my man Dr. Burke tossed off the show. He should be buried in ABC oblivion. He was irrelevant and he's still irrelevant. Are all the L-Word alumni going to march through Grey's? Whatever. When are Bet and Tina going to show up with a new baby problem?

Too much rumors about it. Despite of my sadness I´m starting to think it is gonna be true.
I hope there is a miracle and both did´nt quit the show because I love these characters.
I can´t imagine the show and the rest of the characters without them. What about Alex?????? If Izzie dies now that he is changing and loving her...
Don´t speak of Meredith and her dark place or Cristina...
I hope Shonda thinks about the consecuences,Grey´s anatomy fans will miss them a lot and in my opinion show wont gonna be the same.

I would be sooo happy if they both left. I can't stand George- he's so whiny. He wants a bigger and better role, but he's not that great of an actor. I watched some of his interviews on You tube and he has no personality. As for Heigl, she thinks she is some great actress too. However, from all of her movies that I have seen, I would describe with one word: stereotypical. I think if they get their wishes and leave the show it will hurt their careers more than help. I wouldn't be sad to never hear from either of them again.

George has no chemistry with any girl on the show. get rid of him. Not KH. George is a complete and utter boring. The show is still great w/o George.

PLEASE just read this if you are upset and confused.
The actors don't know what's going on (maybe with the exception of TR and Katie)
They don't know what's going to happen in an episode until they get the script, so the CERTAINLY don't know what's going to happen in the season finale.
Pickens' comments were definitely taken out of context because there is no way he would know if they were leaving at this point.
The only other comments we have suggesting they are leaving are from random "grey's anatomy insiders" in ausiello's articles... sketchy if you ask me.
The ONLY official word we have is from Shonda. Everything else is rumor and speculation.

I hope she is telling the truth. but she may just be trying to cover up James Pickens slip.
I think if both of them make the so called exit at the end of the season it will throw the whole chemistry off. All we'll be left with is dark and twisty people and the McDoc's hair.

I don't see how Izzie's character can stay on after bringing back Denny the way they did. He was there to take her away in my opinion. I will totally miss George and Izzie's friendship and I will miss the George we had in seasons 1-3.

THERE IS ONLY ONE REASON THIS SHOW IS GOING DOWN: EVERY SECOND SOMEONE WANT'S TO GET OUT AND THEN SHONDA HAS TO CHANGE THE WHOLE PLAN! we haven't seen a real plot for a while and we all know how good shonda is. if everyone would calm down for a while maybe she could write something that is actually worth watching.

I think Katie is gone. She has wanted to leave for a long time and let's face it. She is a movie star and this show is way beneath her especially because it has now become the joke of the industry.
I adore her but she should leave when she has the chance. It has been confirmed pretty much everywhere.
I love both George and Izzie. They are why I watch but the show is so bad lately, I want them to leave so I can quit Grey too. And if TR leaves, I want Katie to be with him.
George without Izzie or Izzie without George, I can't see that or accept that.

I really think TR and Katie have a gag order from the show NOT to talk.
TR mostly did theaters. He did do one CSI episode and he was brilliant in it, but he is mostly a theatre guy, and I am Canadian so I won't be able to go see his plays if he decides to do theater.
Sniff, I want him to do a sitcom or something. He is so funny.
I saw The Last request, it was super hilarious.
Every character has been through so much and yet the show keeps finding stuff for them.
George has yet to decide what he wants to do. He has yet to gain his confidence and break away from the chief and let go of the 007 stigma.
He hasn't found a love that lasts yet (well to me that was GI, but Shonda chickened out).
Izzie needs him right now.
I could write for George. I would have so many ideas for him.
Those are writers. if they can write for Lexie, Sadie, Dr Dixon, a million guest stars and all the other members of fanb 5, they should be able to write for George too. If I can, they can

Clearly some of you lack imagination, as do the writers of Grey's Anatomy.
See, there's never a final stop for a character. There is still so much that can happen to George. It just takes brainstorming and creativity. Like about everyone's precious MerDer: they've been together, broken up, been together, broken up, whined, broken up, had sex, didn't have sex, been together, broken up, and now they're together once again.
To me, that storyline needs some major work, too. George needs the most attention, IMO.
The reason why I'm concerned about what happens to T.R. after he leaves the show is I never seen him anywhere else. Will he get another TV gig after this? Will be start being in movies? You don't know. It's like that with EVERY actor. What's gonna happen to Kevin McKidd when the show's done? Chandra Wilson? Sara Remirez? Ellen Pompeo? (no, I am not accusing her of being a bad actress, I am simply making a point. Yes, I do love Ellen Pompeo. Saw her on David Letterman - ver

Yeah and even Bailey is not her brilliant wonderful self. I miss the real Bailey. I miss her friendship with George.
All thsoe characters have been so OOC this season. Izzie finally acted like herself last episode.
George is still his wonderful caring empathic funny self, but they show 2 seconds of him, which is a crying shame because he is such an amazing character and we all love him so much.
I don't recognize the other characters, even Lexie has become unlikable since they tried to make her a sex goddess (pukes).
