IMO, George brings all the heart to the show. This is why the show has felt soulless and heartless this season because George was not in it.
If season 5 is an indication of what the show is without George, I am not watching it.

I wont watch if they kill izzy and george and I am barely watching this season, its the worst yet, dull shows with too many characters and no depth. Baily is good but she can't carry the show. She needs people to spar with. Too bad it used to be a good show. Guess I will flush it with ER as well.

Nah I actually like Alex even though I don't like AI. I like he and George's love hate.
Get rid of the chief instead. He serves no purpose.
Put Lexie with George and Mark with Callie and get rid of Arizona and all the lesbian du jour. Nothing against lesbians, but Callie is not a lesbian. She is hot with Mark.
Focus on the fab 5, an put the others on recurring. But don't fire anyone, except maybe The chief.
But George is the heart and the comedian of the show, so no Grey for me without him.

Lexie cna stay if she is ^paired with George. I loved her with him. It is just since she is with Mark, that I hate her.
Get rid of Arizona and all the new characters and the interns and give the time to George.
We love George. We don't love those new characters.
And make George and Izzie best buddies again. Everyone wants that.
If Geprge leaves, I will never ever watch again.

I have an idea. Reunite Gizzie and get rid of Alex. He is a total bore and basically ahs never had any story except Izzie. The only thing is A;lex and Izzie are the most boring couple ever, so get rid of him, reunite Gizzie and also fire Chyler Leigh. She sucks. Alex and Lexie's airtime can go to George, who is a much more interesting lovable character.

actually karson you're probably right, they just beat george up more in the seasons then they did the rest of the characters...maybe if he stays he could be with lexie? i really wanted to see that happen.

I think George is the best and he needs to stay. He isn't boring at all unlike Alex and Lexie and Mark. Now they are boring. George is the funniest person on the show. He leaves, I do too.
Get rid of Lexie and Alex is pretty useless and boring without Izzie and even with her. So maybe get rid of JC.

There is tons of things left for George to do. He needs to find love. He needs to show he can become a great doctor we all know he can be. I want him to work with kids and be with his old mentor Bailey. I want him and Izzie to be best friends again and he might help her through her sickness.
There is tons they haven't done with George. It is completely stupid to say there is nothing left to write for him when a non-professional like me has just given several ideas of how to write for him.
Why don't they get rid of Lexie? Nobody cares about her. Everyone loves George. So they can give all her airtime and story to George.

I know I"m a stranger but let me say this again: Here in Brazil lots of Gizzie fans don’t want them to leave. I hope that they end together. When Shonda came up with all that "no quimestry" I was like: "seriuosly??? came on!!!! They are great together as a couple and I can't say the same about mark and lexie, this couple has NO quemistry, please!!! If TR and KH are really leaving I hope that they fall in love again and get married (so at least one marriage will happen in this show).
P.S.: Sorry for my bad English

well that just sucks. i love gizzie!!! i don't want them to leave because then the show will never be the same!! George is amazing and i've always loved Izzie. but I guess if they're gonna go, they'd better go together, the best of friends that they are....i just wish they wouldn't....

also! since they've sorda not written about george at all this season, i think it'll be easier to let him go. i am a fan of him, and i did like him, but maybe there's just nothing left to write for him? i mean his dad died, he failed his intern test, he lost his bestfriend, he got married had a divorce...BTW does anyone remember the divorce with callie? i don't remember that ever being final... and he passed his test lalalala, he kinda ran out of stuff to write about. and i did like gizzie, but i mean of course not everyones gonna love it, so noone should get so upset about other peoples opinions. but if they kill off izzie, what an INCREDIBLE episode that would be huh? but poor greys for season six, and i won't be watching without the optimistic izzie. because everyone else is just dark and twistyyyy

I could care less whether TR Knight leaves, but I will be sad to see Katherine Heigl leave. I love Lexzie and I love Izzie, and the show just wouldn't be the same without her. George is just boring, in my opinion, but there are times I like him, so I would be okay if he stayed or left.

i'm reposting this....okay so i've been thinking!!!! i've been doing some MAD thinking, and i honestly think that izzie is gonna die this season guys! because shonda said that there will be a wedding, but she never said whose. that automatically gets rid of merder because everyone is thinking about THAT particular wedding. Okay so she also said that all the answers to the finale were in the primere on whether or not dreams will come true....and denny proposed to izzie and they never got to have their wedding, and she saw denny in the primere and said "i told you i show you my dress" shes gonna die and have her wedding with denny! i thought it was smart.
but if she was gonna die i don't think they are going to bring katherine back as a guest star?
she's dead.
lol, unless they have alex go crazy and see dead izzie.

I'll never stop watching or stop loving Grey's. MerDer make it for me anyways. Sure it'll suck if Izzie and George are out. It's something we'll all have to get used to... but it's not the end of the show. Not at all. If KH and TR.K wanna leave... that's fine. If they don't love their job on the show anymore, why keep them there? I wonder how they will create their exits? Will it happen this season, or next season? How will they go? Will Izzie die? How will George leave? How the frick will Mer deal with Izzie dead... and George leaving? I think that if Izzie dies... George won't be able to stay in the hospital anymore. I think if she does die, that's how it's gonna happen. George won't be able to stay @ Seattle grace cos it'll be too painful for him.
I have nothing but faith in Grey's though. I think they'll be fine. At least they won't have a 2 whingey actors that continuously cause drama and piss everyone off. Haha.

Nobody has to face anything. Chemistry and couple shipping is subjective.
How would you like it if someone told you to get over your favorite couple because they sucked?
I think Lexzie sucks more than any couple, yet I feel sorry for their fans because Shonda has always screwed them over. When Izzie was with Alex, she dumped him for Denny. Then she rejected him for George. And now that they were together her biggest fantasies involved Denny not Alex. So he was never written as enough for her, and I felt bad for you, but you continue being rude like that and I will be happy this happened.
As for Gizzie, I am glad they are leaving together. I could never imagine one without the other.

In fact many of us quit when they ended.

I don't want them to leave. I love them both. I find it funny that someone says she won't notice George being gone because he ahd no scenes. If anything, it just made me love him more and pay more attention to every scene he got.
I guess the person was not a real George fan to begin with because his real fans missed him and have come to appreciate how great he is even more this season.
The season has basically sucked because of no George.
That and Slexipuke.
