I do love how TR fans have no faith in him whatsoever. If you love TR as you claim, why do you act that way? How insulting is that?
He is super talented, why would he not succeed?
I will personally follow him wherever he goes. There was absolutely no reason why Gizzie couldn't be best friends again.
Many former couples have remained friends like Mallie.
I get Shonda the coward was so scared of the GI haters, she didn't even dare put them in scenes because she knew the haters would get threatened by Gizzie's obvious superior connection and chemistry to AI.
So basically if George is leaving, the Gizzie haters are to blame for it. They cost TR his job.

When they ended my Gizzie, which was the stupidest decision ever, I stayed only for him.

They should never have broken up Gizzie. They had it all: great chemistry, great friendship and a true love and tenderness that beat it all. Alex and Izzie were never about anything mroe than sex and Alex never deserved Izzie.
And then they killed the GI friendship.
Well I don't like the Izzie with Alex, but I will miss my George and his last day will be mine.

George and Izzie are why I watch. I nearly quit the show when they ended my Gizzie, but I stayed for them., I never loved Grey quite as much and even started missing several episodes but I still watched.
If they leave now, I can go too.
At least it will finally break up that horrible Alex and Izzie pairing. I loathe them.
George is the heart of Grey for me.

Then maybe Alex can elarn to be a real good person, not just be a good person with Izzie. He is still an ass to George and 99% of the characters and is too much of an self-centered jerk to notice Izzie is sick. George would have, which is why Gizzie was such a great couple and AI never was.
And a lot of us love George, so don't say he is useless. Obviously a lot of us disagree on that.
If this season has taught me anything, it is how much of the heart of the show George really is because that season without him has been heartless.

The episode was "Dream a little dream of me". I want Izzie to be with Denny but I don't want her to die to do it so hopefully Katherine will stay and Izzie will be with Alex.

Of course! I totally didn't get the scene where Izzie goes "Into the light" with Denny in (not sure which episode), when she steps out of the elevator and Denny is waiting for her and then they go into the light together!
thought it was beautiful but couldn't make it out... but what about poor Alex, I can't decide, which one is better Izzie and Alex or Izzie and Denny (or the three together, haha, just kidding)...
but i like the idea of Denny and Izzie as a TRUE LOVE-kind of a couple and so it wouldn't be so horrible if they were together in eternity.
they just need to find another good matchy for alex (but unlikely since izzie is the main reason alex has evoloved as a person so much through the whole series)

I don´t want them lo leave, but the show will survive without them.
Personally, even if she dies, in my opinion there is no good reason for Denny, the whole sex-with-a-ghost thing was too much for me. In any case, I am glad he is gone.

I don't want anyone to leave, it won't be the same. But on the other hand, I believe the writers could make it work without them as well.
I don't think there is any point making TR Knight and Katharine Heigl stay by any cost if they wish to try and make it on other stuff than Grey's anatomy. I mean, if they really want to leave...
And I knew, there was a good reason for ghost Denny!
can't wait how that turns out with Izzie!

There is no way this show could survive without George and Izzie. Look at what happened to the OC after they killed off Marissa. I love the show and there is no want it to go. :(

If they really do kill Izzy it will be an amazing episode and ridiculously sad. I love Izzy and I don't want the writers to kill her - but why else would they do the Denny thing and then the thing in last week's crossover where she can't see the scissors and misjudges the location of the tape Alex hands her? It certainly seems like it is all building up to something . . . but how they are going to exit George is more complicated.
How is Grey's going to continue without the 2 of them? Especially Izzy - since George hasn't been in much of late. I don't know - the writers will figure something out, whether we like it or not.
And also - what the heck will happen to Alex if Izzy dies? Hello, the whole conversation he had with Addie last week says it perfectly - and he's already had to deal with Ava. I really don't know, but I guess that's a good thing. Especially if Shonda wants ratings.

I knew it!! I knew it all along!! If george doesnt want to be on the show then fine! I really like him when he actually had a part in it! But he's useless to me! I do love izzy however!! I hope she doesn't go but it sounds like she is going to! Just like I suspected last week and got accused of being a pessimist!!

I don't know why anyone would assume, on this show, that a contractual provision for future guest appearances would preclude her from dying at the end of the season.

I seriously believe that the powers that be have known all along that this was Katie's last season. That is the whole reason for Denny. In the first blog from Shonda Rhimes for this season, she stated that every thing in the first episode had a meaning. In that episode Izzie is in the hall watching Alex kiss a girl in his room. She then is thinking about Denny and showing him her prom dress and the two of them walk off into the light together. I knew then that it meant something about Izzie. I wish it was not true and I never wanted to see her leave the show. She is my favorite, always has been!! I will continue to watch the show, but with a heavy heart. Of course Denny was back for that reason. I understand he is still going to be coming back. I am a devoted Grey's fan.... I have watched the first 3 seasons again on i tunes and are starting on season 4. It is very interesting to go back and watch the seasons over again. It really answers a lot of questions. Shonda and the writers have given George (TRK) so little lines that it feels like he has already left the show. So if or when he really is gone, I honestly might not even notice. I am not really a fan of KH or her character Izzie, but I really do not want them to kill her off the show (although that seems the only way to) because then all the characters will be depressed in season 6, Mer will not be in the mood to marry Derek, Cristina will not be in the mood to have hot sex with Owen. So however they choose to get rid of these characters, I just hope it's not by death.

I am happy to see Izzie go. I have never liked the character. Seems like Shonda used Izzie & George as the two characters that picked up the slack just because. I never saw any real focus or path for their characters they just seem to ride on everyone else's coat tails and had no real story of path of their own. They were vehicles for other characters. From that perspective I can see both TR & Katherine being unhappy with the writing and wanting to move on. I will miss George or at least the George of season 2 & 3.
Is there still a third person leaving?
