Krista Tesreau: Returning to Guiding Light!
Great Guiding Light news continues to pour in:
Hot on the heels of Grant Aleksander's return to the show (on Monday!), viewers will see Krista Tesreau, who joined Guiding Light as Mindy in 1983.
This marks serious treat for longtime viewers: Tesreau, Aleksander and Michael O'Leary (Rick) were three of the the show's popular Four Musketeers (Beth Chamberlin rounds out the crew as recast Beth; Judi Evans originated the role).
Tesreau will return in early March.

I am a long time viewer and I must say that I am pleased that Krista is making a return to GL. I loved the fact that Grant A Philip has returned and now Mindy is returning. I hope that this can be extended to a long run versus and brief stint but I will take what I can get. Krista has chemistry with several actors on the show. She is Princess to Jordan Clarke and Billy could use more screen time. And, Mindy was close to Vanessa since this was her step mom for years. And, maybe Mindy could give poor Rick some play. Her character has magic and GL needs to reflect back to its golden era. I remember loving Philip, Beth, Rick and Mindy. PLEASE offer Krista a long term contract and let us see soem flash back scenes. And, can we get some new music for the opening. I hate the current music it is too folksy and country. I understand your need to update things but part of the joy of watching soaps is the history. Look at Y&R same music just updated a bit. I could envision some photos of the
