    I remember that also that she will have a brain condition but wouldnt die...my guess is aneurysm or some kind of tumor. I wish I could just see every episode of the season right now! LOL

    I agree with you, Nina. I remember that as well, and I that's how I recall what Shonda said about Izzie.
    
    And I totally agree with you, drcookchick-- let's leave the pessimism behind and be totally happy about this great news!!! 13 is looking like a VERY lucky # to me!!!

    lalalaloveizzy - I remember on tvguide.com that shonda says izzie is going to have a brain thing going on but that she isn't going to die. I remember her saying that izzie was going HAVE a condition.

    Shonda can't lie now that she gave a direct, public quote :file: Too many people would for sure be P.O.'d and would leave, thus letting ratings drop. Now that we've gotten some optimism on this beautiful day known as Friday the 13th (I KNEW 13 was my lucky number! LOL), I think we should leave the pessimism behind and just be happy about this.

    I think shonda could be lying! Just like she lied about izzy not having any sort of condition at all! I really hope that they do stay but im not counting on it! Something is for sure wrong with izzy and it's going to get so out of control before she even tries to do anything about it and then she is going to die or something horrible like that! But I'm just saying why would 2 people that work on the set of Greys everyday say that izzy and george are leaving? Sounds a little suspicious if you ask me!

    Izzie almost sounds like she is having or had a stroke. I hope they stay, I don't like when they take away the main characters!

    Yay! YAY! YYYAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    OK, corny, cheesy... like a little kid who was just promised an ice cream cone, but that THAT is how I feel!!! I am SO relieved!!! TR is my favorite. My Georgie is my favorite! Izzy too--- when I was watching last night I was thinking about Izzy and how sad I was about all her fake happy nothing-is-wrong-with-me-but-I-really-actually-know-there-is-something-wrong smiles and I started thinking about what if there was no Izzy and no George and no Gizzie friendship-- it would be CATASTROPIC!!!!
    
    Thank you, Shonda Rhimes for issuing this statement. I know you guys no they are just rumors and YOU can all laugh knowing that, but for some of the fans this rumor was stomach-churning, heart-wrenching and waiting for your statement that it was NOT true felt like YEARS!!! THANK YOU for telling us fans!
    
    Also, now I'm going to do one more childish thing in response--- I'm gonna do the "I told you so" dance!!! I KNEW James Pickens Jr's comment
