Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen was on her way to the set Friday when she was ambushed by a female crew member friend who snuck up on and surprised her.

Taylor was genuinely shocked (as the photo below shows) and didn't realize right away who played a prank on her. Nothing like a little on-set practical joking!

The 15-year-old actress and model smiled and looked trendy as ever as she rolled to work. The girl never ceases to mix it up with her hair and fashion, that's for sure!
