What if he like rented Joe's for an hour or so and proposed? Then, if she freaked out she could not do it in front of a crowd. Also since the whole hospital pretty much knows about the ring they'd think it was a show.

VABeaglelvr-- I think the crossover happens during both shows' air times, but I'm not 100% sure. Typically with crossover events, that is how it has gone down in the past. (just from crossovers from other shows and their spinoffs-- this is new to Greys)

I agree that it might happen at Joe's but I think Derek would probably do something more romantic and private cuz he knows how Mer can freak on big things like this. Cuz you know all women freak out when a gorgeous, successful, painfully sweet man proposes.
Oh, I've been confused by different "spoilers" is the cross over occurring during the Grey's time slot, the PP time slot or both? The ABC website doesn't really indicate either way.

OMG-- did you see Lexie's face when she saw the ring??? Oh, this is going to be so good!!! And, I think everyone is right in thinking that it will happen at Joe's--- and I think that is PERFECT!! (except that if Mer freaks the whole bar-full will see her freak, but...)
