Tonight's Episode: "In the Realm of the Basses"
Sadly, Gossip Girl will not return with new episodes for another four weeks (March 16). Until then, the CW is re-airing each of the most recent four episodes of Season Two.
Tonight, that means an encore of "In the Realm of the Basses," in which Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester steal the show as Chuck Bass and Blair Waldorf - the latter doing whatever it takes to save the former from his reeling, destructive self.
If you missed it the first time around or just want to relive all the Upper East Side drama, you can get the complete breakdown here in our official episode guide!

A photo gallery, video section, music guide, list of Gossip Girl quotes, breakdown of the episode's fashion and staff Round Table discussion complete your viewing experience.

I think the reason they show the most recent episodes is so they people who missed it can know the recent plot line and so they won't get confused

I think that was one of the cruelest things Chuck could ever say. So sad when he said that. He may be a sexy guy but I think B should of slapped him for that one!

This episode is painful to watch. Hate the way C treats B in this one. I think a few classic GG episodes from Season 1 and 11 should be on for the next couple weeks. WTF are they thinking by reairing the last 4? I could definetely go for Victor/Victrola and 'Summer Kind of Wonderful' or 'Much I do about Nothing'!

I completely don't understand why they would take month long breaks smack-dab in the middle of the season... It's not cool. Four weeks- a month! Are they INSANE?!?!?!? In less than a week, people are going to find them on the street and threaten their lives something like this: "If you don't put a new Gossip Girl on the air this week I will stab you repeatedly with a plastic spork!" No, it's not me... I don't threaten people's lives unless it's REEEEEEEEEEALLY important. =]
And, Atty, much to your displeasure, I doubt they would ever get together. Blair would never go with that. And Dan's all Carr-crazy now, so, I doubt it.
And I agree, bcforpeace, they should put the most loved GG episodes on air before the reruns of recent episodes. At least go to the beginning of season 2!
Ohmygosh! Ed HAS been amazing lately! I've been watching it and I've been like, "OMFG. ED WESTWICK+RECENT PERFORMANCES= TOTAL AND COMPLETE LOVE."
And, LoveLeightonLively, you're totally right. An ol

well this is better than no gossip girl at least. However I wish they played some of the earlier episodes in this season because there is a lot of stuff I don't remember.
LOVE ED! HE IS AMAZING!
HATE THE WRITERS!
