Really? Is the looks everything that matters? If that's so, then you'll never experience real love. There's an inside too, you know. Ellen obviously sees something in her husband since she's married to him, and just because you don't like him it doesn't mean she shouldn't. You don't know him, so you don't have any rights to judge him. Show them some respect. Everyone is attracted to different people, everyone has their own taste. What if you had a husband and everyone said that he was ugly etc. I'm sure you wouldn't like that.

I noticed that,too. He doesn`t seem to be very nice with her in public and he lacks any romanticism sometimes =/ . I truly don`t know what`s between them, but he doesn`t look like the appropriate person for her. Or maybe I am wrong and this is just an appearance. Well,I just hope that Ellen is happy because she deserves to :) [sorry for my English]

Well, in MY defense, I'm not being bitchy. I've seen the way he treats her when she is surrounded by her fans and signing autographs. He lacks class and can be very rude. So much for being supportive.
I'm sure that Ellen does love him, but if he's going to be seen with her in public atleast aknowledge her success and stop being a jerk.

Seriously people...don't be so bitchy! You don't know him. She married him, so she obviously loves him and sees lots of great qualities in him. I love the show as much as anyone else and love the whole MerDer thing, but it is just a show and it is fiction and as perfect as we think Ellen and Patrick could be in our little fantasy world- they are real people with real life loves and I just don't think it is fair to lump heaps of crap on her husband.
And you know, not everyone is into POAs. If I knew there were paparazzi around, I would never be super cuddly and loving to my boyfriend. I am not a publicly lovey dovey person- maybe they're not either.
