Colin Egglesfield Cast on Melrose Place Remake

From a daytime drama to a new nighttime soap opera.

All My Children star Colin Egglesfield has been cast on The CW's Melrose Place remake. He'll portray the character of Auggie, an avid surfer and sous chef with dreams of one day owning his own restaurant.

For years, Egglesfield has appeared on All My Children as Josh Madden, the son of Erica Kane (played by soap legend Susan Lucci). He was killed off that show in January.

The actors joins a growing cast on the new Melrose Place. He'll be working with Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Katie Cassidy, Michael Rady and Jessica Lucas.
