George refused to go up and visit Izzie when the others went up at the initial morning rounds. He was hurt and upset because she confided in Cristina and not him, so he goes to Callie for a case. He avoids her all day and Callie finds him smashing grafts because he was upset, she nailed it on the head it's because he's scared for her, he's upset that she told Cristina, (he made a point to say he asked what was wrong and she always said that she was fine.) and that he doesn't want to lose his best friend. She said they were going to go up to wait for her to get out of surgery because when they were married he slept with Izzie and that caused Callie to wish she was dead and that he owed her at least that. (I hope that all makes sense.)

This was so amazing! I loved what Derek did I think that it was sooo sweet!I think that Owen and Christina will wind up together again and i just know that Owen will get the help he needs.....Alex was pretty cute too when he finally got to hold Izzie. so cute, by far the best episode!

There was no previews for next week because they are taking another break. The next new episode will not be on until April 23rd.

On this page, it says "Sweet Surrender" (new episode) airs Thursday, April 2, so that is next week. Apparently they didn't want to give us PREVIEWS, though!
Also, even though he didn't get down on his knee, it was TOTALLY a proposal. Proposals don't always have to be a guy getting down on his knee and asking the question. It was the perfect mix of traditional and unique. LOVED IT. And Meredith walked into Cristina's bedroom and said "I'm engaged!"

Can I ask someone for a huge favour?? What was the monologue Alex said over the scene with him and Izzie at the end? It had to do with trauma and how sometimes you need it to "step up"?? I'd really appreciate it!
I'm so sad, i only caught the last few minutes thinking I taped it, but I forgot to! :(

An absolutely FANTASTIC episode. These last two episodes have brought me back to what Grey's USED to be like. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this show again. I just hope they can keep it up. After that proposal, I am seriously giddy over here. The whole thing with Cristina and Owen was disappointing, but understandable and real. He's going to be motivated to let Derek help him now, and it will all work out in due time, I am sure.
The Alex/Meredith scene was incredibly good, the two of them were amazing in it. I was crying on and off this entire episode! Between that scene, the old lady dying, Izzie in the operating room, Derek scared to go in and do the surgery, Meredith saying she loves him and encouraging him to do it, etc. I was a mess.
WHAT WAS WITH NO PREVIEWS FOR NEXT WEEK?!!?

Seriously one of the best episodes! Derek's proposal was the most amazing thing I have seen totally befitting of their relationship!!!! I am still holding out that they are the one's getting married this season though at this point it could just as easily be Izzie and Alex. Who by the way broke my heart. So did Owen and Cristina I love them together because they are so complicated and true. I think own needs to go to see a therapist and Cristina maybe needs to go with him from time to time. I hope next week is a new episode but I don' think it is. SO AMAZING!!! I LOVED IT!!!!

Derek didn't actually propose, it was so sweet though. Having the entire elevator set up with all of the patients ct's starting with their first patient Katie Bryce. Finally, since tomorrow marks the four year anniversary of the pilot episode of Grey's. Absolutely excellent Grey's tonight!

The "love letter" in the elevator was a bunch of brain scans, all of patients they had worked on together. He had set them up in the elevator and the chief made sure she got into the elevator with him. The elevator doors opened up and there he was, looking hot. He brought her in, and went through each brain scan, saying 'I kissed you in the elevator after this,' and 'This is when Bailey kicked you out of the OR,' and 'This is when I knew I needed you.' He told her that she's a strong person since she's been through so much, that she may be dark and twisty, but it's a strength, not a flaw, yada yada... how it makes her who she is and he loves her. Then he said, 'I'm not going to get down on my knee, I'm not going to ask you a question... I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.' She smiled and said she wants to spend the rest of her life with him, too. They kissed, and it was OH SO PERFECT. :)
