you know what...as much as i hated how nate treated blair in the past, i have to give all the credit to nate this time--for saving blair from self-destruction. chuck had lots of chances to do it but knowing their history, i dont think blair can easily give her trust to chuck after all that has happened between them.
i think we can all agree that the nateblair dialogue was heart-wrenching and romantic ( i got teary eyed...didnt know nate could do that) and as i said, it was what saved blair. and i dont think chuck could deliver those lines in nate's place and have blair listen to him and SMILE at him--and just about have hope again that her life wouldnt be such a total mess.
i felt really sorry for blair when she lost yale, even more so when she decided to "burn her book, rather than tear out the pages of her life". i really thought we would all lose the blair we all loved, but what nate did, he just became THE hero in my eye, and the knight in shining armor that blair needs at t

yes, chuck hurt blair a lot, but nate isnt a saint either. He cheated on her with her best friend, later he came back with her because of family's businnes, money and he couldnt stop thinking about serena... how does this make him better than chuck? plus blair has always been nice with nate, but she has hurt chuck a lot of times....
In the end it would be nice to bee Blair and Chuck together, however if she's going to kill time with someone else or be with someone else I definitely am glad it's Nate! Besides, the whole Nate/Blair/Chuck triangle was one of the most interesting storylines in season 1.

Tonight's episode was really good but just showed me Nate and Blair need to stay friends. Chuck and Blair have a deeper, more romantic and sexual connection. I also can't believe so many posters seem to forget how horrible Blair has treated Chuck in the past. I agree Chuck was really horrible to her after his father died, but we can't forget all the things Blair did to Chuck in the past. They both have played dumb games and need to grow up. I think this renewed relationship with Nate will work for Blair for a short period of time but she will soon see her heart belongs somewhere else. I hope the same happens for Nate. I think he has mistreated Vanessa the way he mistreated Blair in the past. Nate needs to grow up too. I think many posters forget all of the times Nate acted like Blair didn't exist. I don't see why anyone thinks he will treat Blair better than Chuck did.

Also, I had a friend watching the episode with me that hasn't seen this show before and she was like "I wonder if Chuck and Serena will get together." I was like "Shut your mouth!!! They are like brother and sister!" I am pretty sure I would stop watching the show if the writers brought them together. Quoting Serena "Gross!"!!!!

Madison, I can certainly see your point. Even though I am a huge Chair fan, it is the one thing that annoys me about their relationship. I hope the writers are going to address it more in the upcoming episodes. I hope that maybe in Season 3, Chuck would learn more about how to be in a real relationship. I think back to what Bart said to Chuck at the end of Season 1 when he was describing being in a real relationship. It scared Chuck then but I keep hoping he is ready now. We have to remember he didn't grow up with a mother or any sisters. He doesn't know how to treat women. He only uses them. Blair is the first person he has ever really wanted to love. He just keeps messing it up!
Sometimes I think the writers have made Blair a little too tolerant of his bad ways. He has been really MEAN to her! I would love to see more of the Season 1 Blair who can hold her own when it comes to him. I was glad to see her give him a little taste of his own tonight - especially when sh

what i dont understand is when people point out how really terrible chuck has treated blair ALLL YEAR LONG they never ever address it. you just skip over it as if chuck treats blair perfect.
all you keep pointing to is this nonexistent chemistry you think they have. which even if they do have it, at the BARE MINIMUM you want your partner to actually treat you well, which chuck has never done to blair EVER!!

If the episode recaps for the reason of the season are for real, wikipedia has built me up and knocked me down. At least we're in for alot of chuck and blair :)
ohh and im happy that season 3 starts august 10th, before school starts :) yay! GG is a great show and i found that this weeks ep was lacking behind, i hope season 3 keeps the charm.

I can honestly say that the scenes with Nate and Blair were fine. They felt like old friends, not lovers. There are not fireworks, no sexual tension. Just an ease about them.So if we are to be stuck with them for now that is fine. However I believe that the writers understand that without Chair, they kind of don't have a show. Most people are rooting for them. The Nair fans are mainly book readers that have crossed over to the tv show. This reference to pot smoking-is not the first time on this show and was actually reference a few times in season one,especially when everything came out about his father. And I can not count how many times they have mentioned Blairs favorite movies. So what? Chuck knew her favorite movies also. The point isn't that Nate knows her better, it is that he doesn't now or since the show has been on, ever loved her. He is self absorbed and needs someone that is not such a goody goody to bring that sexy part of him out...that would be Serena-So yes I am a Ch

how is Vanessa annoying...sheis never anything but supportive with Nate. when he had an affair with catherine, she still tried to help him, when he had problems with his dad she as there. She always forgives him for screwing her over and i can not wait till nate sees her kiss chuck. he does not appreticate vanessa so i hope for once and for all she puts him in his place!
blair is being way to self-centered. she didnt even give a thought to the fact that he has a girlfriend. doesnt she remeber how it felt to be cheated on by nate and that lord guy. ughh
anyway i loved this episode. Dan and Serena were great they defiently need some time apart and just be casual friend.

That bitch really needs to get her ass wiped for being such an annoyance to Blair and pretty much the rest of the cast. I can't wait to see her reaction when B and N lip lock in front of her.

In the end it would be nice to bee Blair and Chuck together, however if she's going to kill time with someone else or be with someone else I definitely am glad it's Nate! Besides, the whole Nate/Blair/Chuck triangle was one of the most interesting storylines in season 1.
