greysaddiction- I totally agrees with everything you're saying.
George is obviously still in love with Izzie. I cried like a a baby when he ran to her last week. Amd in this weeks promo he is the one who looks te most depressed about Izzie. I know alex shouts 'this isn't suppose to happen!' but how do we know what he is really talking about?
AI fans- I am not against AI I just love Gizzie wayyyyyyyy more and I want them back :)

OK, here's my $.02--
Izzie is just not going to die. DrTaylor-- there's been nothing about her finally negotiating out of her contract AND all recent rumors and indications have been that EVERYONE is still contracted for their same 7 seasons. Shonda even said TR and KH aren't leaving.
Izzie can't die. It would be awful. For everyone, but especially George and Alex. And b/c Der is doing her surgery, whether she died in his surgery or afterwards during some other part of her fight, it would kill Derek professionally. And you know that's not gonna happen. our McDreamy is a McNeourosurgeon-- that's the way it is!!
This clip really makes me feel for Alex. JanisBing-- I think this clip DOES show that Alex didn't know all along. Yes, he noticed all the weird things with Izzie lately and yes, he had that conversation w/ Addie but it was more to the tune of thinking that she was going crazy mentally and him just not wanting to deal with it/not being able to handle more of that

A lot of you guys seem to resent Alex for he didn't see it coming, yet the guy actually told Addison he'd been feeling that something was wrong, that there were bad news ahead. Besides, he repeatedly noticed defects in Izzie's depth perception like when she couldn't grab a ribbon at the end of the interns' race or when she didn't see the scissors on the table...
I'm convinced he knew all along but was waiting for her to spill the truth.
Btw I hadn't noticed the covered neck but you're right, Gottahavemygrey's, it seems like the injury's gonna be pretty bad.

all i ask is for Izzie to live!!!
She can go ahead and quit the hospital but it will be soo heartbreaking for everybody if she dies.
Christina, even though she is hardcore, is so worried about Izzie and Alex would never forgive himself if she dies and George will never forgive Alex for being such an ass when George was giving signals that something was wrong with her. Finally, McDreamy will quit because he lost another patient and friend and the show will be over forever!!...Oh No!

DrTaylor- When did KH get out of her contract? As far as I know they are all contracted for 7 seasons and there has been no word about anyone leaving, just speculation.
I do feel bad for alex but I wish George was there. I guess he'll get one on one time with her.
To take the spotlight off Izzie though, why is christina wearing a turtle neck? When owen strangles her is it that bad?

Oh Lord, I hope she will survive! I'm counting the hours to see this episode!!! I'm so exited and afraid at the same time!! hihihih!!! Poor Karev, poor George and poor Derek: if things go wrong everything will be a mess..

To me Alex and Izzie are weird and I never bought them. I don,t buy the love especially from Izzie. They seem to me to be sex buddies and nothing more, and problem is, I don,t see the heat. I did a bit more in season 2 but now, not at all.
While Gizzie, that elevator kiss, the first time they had sex, her organsming just there, wow just hot!
Plus they had the love and the sweetness and the cuteness.
They were a great couple. They are great best friends but they were even more perfect as a couple.
I tried a million of times to love AI but no, I just don't.
They'll never have the connection Gizzie has.

I am definitely in the minority since I have loved the Alex and Izzie relationship since the beginning. I totally hated it when Izzie and George were dating. It was so weird...they should be best friends and nothing more than that. I am loving seeing Alex finally settle into a real relationship with Izzie and not being afraid of commitment like he usually is. There is a sweet guy under his tough, jerky exterior. I hope Izzie's illness doesn't cause problems with them and that he steps up and helps her through it. I think he will.

I don't know what she meant, but Alex yelled at George when he tried to tell him about Izzie. he said never talk about her again. I don't think he would be too open to have George in her life. Letting him talk to her yes, be her inseperable best friend again? Not so sure. He might feel insecure about that.
I really wish George and Izzie were the couple here. To me, they are true love, not AI.
I know not everyone feels this way, but I do. Gizzie will always be my couple.
If you don't agree, that's fine, but that is how I feel.
I don't think my dream will ever come true though so I hope at least Shonda lets them be the best best friends ever like they used to be.

As much as a jerk as Alex can be, this clip makes me feel so bad for him...he's had alot of pain in his life , his mom, that whole Jane Doe thing... Its poor Alex once again.

I think Izzie knows who really loves her. George. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Izzie will marry George and that they will leave together for treatment. Derek and Meredith may get engaged, but I think, true to form, that their engagement will be just as rife with problems as their courtship.

If Izzie dies, won't be on Derek's surgery for sure! Her condition is very complicaded, not only the brain metastasis. She'll have to do several surgeries, chemo and radio... So alot of things can kill her during her fight against melanoma or all treatments won't work and she dies anyway...
But I don't believe that she'll die.

I think that George is off breaking bones with Callie. He is in the promo pics, just not the first sneak peek.
Why would you say that Alex wouldn't LET Izzie talk to George? What proof of that have you ever seen? They all have lunch together all the time. He may not like George, but there has never been any indication that he would tell Izzie who should could talk to or that Izzie would ever listen.

I doubt they will actually kill Izzie, because we know Dereck is getting back in the OR, and how would killing another patient, one of Merediths best friends, help that ? Because she has finally wriggled her way out of her Grey's contract, but they have made her agree to several guest apperances. My quess is, she dosen't die, but has to go to rehab for a while to recover from surgery. That way, when they finally end the show, the "Original 5" will still be there, as was Shonda's wish all along.

I don't think she will die, but I do think she will leave Seatle for some city with excelent cancer treatment facilty, and Geroge wanting to reclaim the position of her best friend once again, will leave with her, to offer support in the trying months, years even, she will undoubtably have to go through!

I don't like Alex but great acting by him when they talked about the hallucinations. You could feel his guilt.

Well there is no Izzie and George right now, is there? Shonda killed their friendship and doesn't seem to want to give it back.
Plus Alex will never even let Izzie talk to George.
Shonda has basically screwed us Gizzie fans every which way she knows how. Not to mention the George fans.

Please quit being so 1 dimensional.It's a t.v. show that needs to keep moving and like I said if she dies he's left to wallow.She wouldn't marry him for perpetual love she'd reason for a moment of happiness.Besides there would be no Izzie/George if she's dead.

He appears in the episode promo, breaking stuff and Callie is talking with him about Izzie. So maybe he's angry about the whole situation and is trying to deal with it.
