I am so ready for Izzie to join Denny. Her character has not really grown at all in the past 2 seasons. I can understand KH's frustration with the writing. In many ways she has always been the character to make the stupid choices. Besides a good dramatic episode will put here back on the award radar next year.

There is a sneak peek out there - just look it up on You Tube. SPOILER: she needs multiple surgeries, according to it, but she's supposed to have the brain surgery first. And that it's Derek means it's the brain. It's probably a fault in the setup. Can I just preemptively say that George is NOT in that preview, but if you consider he's off breaking plaster and Callie's telling him she might die, I suspect he is trying to avoid the situation (which you can take as TPTB writing him out if you so desire).
My word, that music is freakin' sad. Alex is going to be so sad to watch. And George. The look of him running after Bailey told him last week was a) very well acted and b) heartwrenching. Well done, T.R.
I'm excited for Thursday (although it's the last episode until the end of April!

OMG, this looks so sad! I cannot wait for the next episode!!! Yeah, that mean doctor mentioned there were gonna be a ton of surgeries for Izzie over the next weeks. Poor her...and poor Alex! And poor George! I nearly cried just watching the promo... When Alex says "This is not how it's supposed to happen!" And the way he looks in on her while she sleeps. And they finally acknowledge George and Izzie being best friends when he smashes stuff and Callie tells him. Whaaa, why do we have to wait that long! She won't die next week, I think they will show her in treatment for the rest of the season (or her refusing, changing her mind, whatever) and IF she has to die I believe that would be a thing for the season finale. But I really, really hope not. Don't let Izzie die! :( Grey's without my favorite character just wouldn't be the same... One more thing: If she dies in the end, it wouldn't necessarily be Derek's fault, his surgery can go fine, but there's so much other stuff wrong with her, t

From the promo I saw online, she has multiple surgeries and one is on her liver. That may be first.

Maybe she is undergoing more then one surgery in the episode...I'm not sure but it could be. Who knows what happens..

Have you noticed that when Izzie is getting ready for surgery, she is laying down and they have a cover over her hair? Doesn't that mean they aren't doing the surgery in her brain, they are doing it in her organs, and if that's the case, wouldn't somebody else like the chief or Bailey do that surgery?

I don't want Izzie to die either...but my question is if she doesn't die, then where do they go from there? Keep her in the hospital...she loses all her hair from the chemo? Or does the surgery mean they got it all...I don't know I don't want her to die. Theres a sneak peak out there and all the interns and bailey are in her hospital room, except george...
