Wow what a great friend Nate is! he notices that "chuck and blair have a strong connection" I thought it was kind of implied when Chuck told him he loved Blair last season but then again Nate is not the brightest of the bunch.

i think the writers are just throwing out different storylines at us to get us confused. blair and nate moving in together? blair going to nyu? no way would that actually happen, unless the writers are completely insane and have something mentally wrong with them. anyway.... a while back stephanie had said something about them writing different storylines for the finale to try and see where each character would move on from highschool. so they're probably just putting out fake information to trick and confuse us. that being said. i think us chair fans just need to hang in there. we can get through this. we all know that chair is endgame. so lets just let the nate and blair fans be happy for now. we all the relationship isn't going to go very far anyway.

Miss Dior, that is a real generalisation by saying that Chair fans are all rude and don't respect other fans. If you supposedly stopped liking the couple because of the fans, then you probably never liked them that much to begin with. You can't blame your dislike for Chair on the fans, because we're not all "rude and disrespectful".
And about Serena going to Brown. She reminds me of a Forrest Gump type character, where everything just falls into place for them, no matter what they do. She's just lucky like that.

you no what everyone heres an idea of y blair settles on nyu think about it chuck will start running bass inc. soon so if hes not going to college why would blair want to be so far away from him nyu would be much closer to the city then yale duh thats an idea y shed stay
ok so the writers are taking the piss the main reason people watch the show is because of chuck and blair yeh fair enought they dont need to be together but to know their there is good enough making her with nate isnt going to help anyone. this isnt like one tree hill where the fanbase is 50 50 the writers know that chuck and blair are the core couple so give it to the fans or you will loose them for some reason i see the rest of this season being hideous

If the writers were smart, they would steal a move from the show Felicity, and Blair will have to choose between Nate and Chuck in the season finale and we won't find out who she picks until the season premiere...

i thought in the yale episode, blair said she didn't apply to any colleges besides yale? unless that episode showed who got in based on early acceptance, blair wouldn't have had time to apply to another school, especially NYU who's deadlines are in the fall.
maybe nate asks blair to move in with him cause her bullimia is back, and he wants to look out for her. or maybe it has to do wiht his granparents. i think he's just trying to look after her, i honestly dont see them having any sparks.
I think that this whole story arc with Nate and Blair is so repetitive and a waste of time. We already saw them together last season and they were the most boring couple I have ever seen. No chemistry whatsoever. People obviously love Chuck and Blair together because they have ridiculous chemistry. It helps that Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick are the best actors on the show. The only thing I'm looking forward to with the new eps is more C/B interation and hopefully watching them get put together-FINALLY. I would love to see them be a couple in season 3 because I think they would keep it funny and sexy.

I think Elle is just terrible, and the whole Chuck/Elle thing is just ATROCIOUS! BLAIR IS HIS ONE TRUE LOVE!
I think the Nate/Blair moving in thing is just hilarious. I mean, how stupid is it to be like, "I know you're into that guy so let's move in together"?
As for all of the people; time will tell and while seeing the new episodes, you can ask yourself..'why was I so upset back then?' or maybe not and the writers really fooled us.
But the changes are really strange. Blair going to NYU? What the hell happened there... Nate going to Columbia isn't that weird, with his background and all.. we know his family is powerful.
The moving in thing... Nate is plotting with Blair to get his money. I guess he isn't jealous over Chuck & Blair...or maybe he is, but then again, the moving in would make it look serious towards his grandfather maybe?
Forget Elle..it's just a crush, she is just a rebound for Blair. Just not enjoy the scenes and or just go to the bathroom while..get some tea of even walk to Starbucks and pick up your coffee.
Chuck and Blair are getting back together, no matter what. It has been confirmed several times. Just wait and see. And for the Nate/Blair lovers. Just enjoy, for the time being.

nanda, you are so right. gossip girl totally reminds me of dawson's creek.joey and dawson were together for like ever and all of a sudden joey and pacey fell completely in love with each other. but before that, they used to tease and make fun of each other. *just like chuck and blair*. i'm a big CHAIR fan but i don't mind blair and nate having a relationship for the time being. as long as chuck and blair are together in the end, i'm happy.

I like Nate, and although I thought he was a boring pretty boy at the beginning of the show, I have really grown to like his character and I think he and Blair would be a good combination. I am a Chair fan however, so like others on this comments list, I hope the Nate and Blair thing doesn’t last too long. But I think it would be nice to see some closure between Nate and Blair, because we didn’t really have that and maybe the pair of them will discover that even if Chuck didn’t come along, or there was no Serena, their relationship maybe still would have collapsed anyway because their ways are so different from each other.
God knows what the writers have planned for the show, but perhaps this could be the catalyst that finally bring Chair together or maybe we’ll have Chuck realising he needs to change now and we have a little cliff hanger at the end of the season. Perhaps it will all come to a head in Season 3. Who knows!

Nate and Blair freaking belong, they were together since childhood until Chuck entered the picture and perturbed everybody's feelings and logic, I mean face it people can you picture Chuck and Blair together, holding heads, snogging, and having ice-cream, but you can with Nate and Blair because if they stay together, its an easier and comforting situation, almost reaching perfection because Blair CAN really finish her life beside Nate and having kids, Chuck just would get bored and PROBABLY cheat cos he will never be able to TRULY commit,I admit Blair does love Chuck but she can't keep chasing something thats unreal, Nate is here loves her and supports her and will catch her when she falls
PS: remember in the victor,victrola Blair says "thats the guy I want to marry" and you don't really take those thoughts back, just like in Dawson's creak there was an intense bond between Joey and Pacey, but look who she ended with!
