i totaly knew the nate and blair thing wouldn't be very soon! he and vanessa will fight later and blair and nate will last until the end of the season! CB must return on the 3rd!

Chuck does love Blair. Perhaps in the beginning it was because she thwarted his advances after she slept with him in the back of the limo. Chuck has never been in love before so it scares the shit out of him because when you are in love it somehow renders you powerless. And Chuck Bass is all about power and having what he wants at all times. But I think after B told him that she loves him, he couldn't handle it. It meant game over and everything would be ruined. So he pushed B away and now (hopefully) in the episodes to come.....he finally realizes that love is caring for someone more than yourself. I truly think he will realize just how much he does love B. Now I would be more than satisfied if I can hear him say those words out loud to B this season. That would make this season so worth it to me!

Elle is ONLY for 2 eps, right?
Because someone said she turns up again like a bad penny.
Hopefully that person meant the next episode.
Because after that, she better be gone so that Chuck can fight for Blair~~~~
I'm skipping the March 16, ep.
Only watching the March 23.
I also skipped the last episode.
Blair and Chuck are the only reason I watch.

Sun-eyed girl~ I agree! Chuck has a lot of work to still do to get Blair to trust him. Their relationship has really been about lust up until now. Now they will have to prove that they have something that can really last. Blair showed it with helping him through his father's death. But Chuck certainly isn't there yet so I am hoping with the reason of the season and maybe next season it will happen. I think the writers have done a great job and I am willing to trust them to continue!

OMG, if I keep getting more of this unsure Chuck and Blair nonsense I'm going to effing send a letter to the CW myself, I am SO sick of hearing, oh yeah well tehy kind of communicate but then something gets in the way and nate is an ass and asks blair to move in with him and ya so the writers understand everyone loves C/B but theyre just not going to let them be together yet.... ITS NONSENSE, i swear im so frustrtaed! why dont the writers understand that Gossip Girl is just going down hill?! IT IS, its still good b ut compared to season 1...I mean seriously it doesnt even compete and im SO MAD at how they make everything so unsure its SO JKSFVJ

Unlike the rest of us (here) i am DELIGHTED that b and c have some time to separate. I'm excited to see them in NEW reletionships, also C AND B will NOT be getting together very soon, so would ppl plez stop complaining and move on!!!
I used to love the word CHAIR, it seamed to represent their un-dying passionate whirl-wind romancing. But now it gives me head-ache from it's complete over-use...

I just have a huge feeling that the writers know what Chair shippers like us want, so they're teasing us to keep us going but in the end, they WON'T let us down. It seems like a let down for now that they're putting Blair with Carter and then Nate, but really, they're doing it because Blair and Chuck have some MAJOR growing up to do before they can be together. Also, Nate might become less brooding for all we know!
The point is, the writers won't let us down, and we just need to give them another chance!

Hmm...While I think about it, yeah, it would be pretty boring if they ended up together straight away. Admit it, while the whole cat and mouse thing is annoying, it keeps us interested and waiting for them to get together, doesn't it? And you have to know that whenever they DO end up together, it will be HUGE: fireworks, seriously tear-jerking, most emotional and perfect moment of the show :D

Chuck and Blair share some great scenes and have the best chemistry on show since the Derena breakup at the season 1 finale. But I gotta be honest - C&B have yet to prove to me. A relationship is not built on flirting and plotting evil against each other. Chuck hurt Blair really bad on those episodes after his father died and he needs to make up for it. When he does, I can proudly call myself a CB shipper.

I completely agree Spath3, at least if they dont get together let him tell her that he loves her. Im really hoping for a chair cliffhanger at the end of the season at the very least! i will be so disappointed if i have to wait all summer to see them "maybe" get together next season!

I get that we need to wait for Chair but for 2 whole freaking seasons???????? I feel a little let down here. At least have him tell Blair that he loves her. Even if they don't get together at the end of the season, we need Chuck to start stepping up to the plate. I can't stand this stupid Elle SL. It's pointless in my opinion. I don't know if I can bear watching Season 3 if it's still playing games with Chair. My heart won't take a whole nother season of that.

I don't get why most ppl seem to think chuck and blair'd be boring as a couple...
Josh did it with seth and summer in the o.c. (they broke up a couple of times, but were together most of the time) and they were never boring, IMO!
I guess from this spoiler it looks like c and b will either get together in last ep. or that'll be a cliff hanger for season 3...I think it's better than nothing, but i really wanted to see them in an actual relationship!
And agree with everyone the nanny sl sucks, soooo happy it ends next ep!

I agree with them. If Blair and Chuck get together now we will get bored sooner or later(and I don't want that to happen). We must have something to wait for, like something exciting! Looking forward to see her with Carter and Nate. It's good with some changes! Besides, Chuck will finaly wake up and fight for her, no matter what that stands in his way. I'm a BIG Chuck and Blair fan and they're my nr 1 couple! My favorite characters

Well at least I know Chair will be a couple someday. And I rather wait then make the show boring if the writers just throw them together. Yes I agree that this nanny storyline is really stupid!!
But I don't mind waiting till season three. Remember how long we had to wait in season 1 when they were going making each others lives miserable, and then we had to wait till season 2 to see them again when season 1 ended badly for them?!
All I know is that Nate isn't a very good friend to Chuck...
I understand that the writers need to create conflict between cb, but so far the whole nanny storyline has been a pretty crappy, I'll wait till monday and see if there's some interesting twist with this but so far i find it pointless, chuck being obsessed with a person he barely knows sounds really out of character..
I too was hoping that blair didn't actually have anything with carter, I'm thinking Carter tells B about Chuck and the nanny which gets her even more depressed on top of the whole yale thing and that's how she ends up with carter.

chuck and blair or blair and chuck are soulmates, they are the same... they just have to get over their internal issues to be together... blair and nate would never work because blair is too strong for nate... chuck understands her and tease her... that's why I will always ship chuck and blair, no matter how much this stupid writers want to mess with them.... but it is good to know that they ackowloge that they belong together

im really surprised at how much blair and chuck really suit each other. wayy more than her and nate. blair and chuck are the same, exept chuc is also a man whore. but atleast he understands blair.
rewatching the first few episodes, nate ignored blairs bitchy side, while chuck makes it more interesting. i really hope she gets together with chuck in the end.

i have to say tht im not surprise tht Dan did tht...i mean...he "was" a brooklyn but things changed when he started to date Serena...like..getting posted on GG,going to parties n balls n stuff...n dating serena also made him see how the upper east side really works...it's really easy to be influenced by the glamorous lifestyle even if he said he hates it...n he's only 18
but i still hate him for sleeping with carr right after his break up with serena....
She's probably sad that he's not fighting for her yet.
I doubt Carr is the sibling but I do think she's got a hidden agenda. Playing the innocent teacher while screwing Blair over is getting kind of old. This might seem far fetched but maybe Georgina related? Just throwing that out there.
I'm guessing Georgina will be trying to get back at Blair but I hope we find out more about that soon.
And I'm really bummed that it looks like no Chair for a while. I get that putting them together right away isn't the best scenario for the show's success but I still want them together. To be happy though I hope they are together by the end of the season. Prom episode maybe?
This week can't go by any slower. I need my Gossip Girl fix!

Yeah, but in the OMG promo when Carter says "Victory never tasted so sweet" and he's kissing Blair's neck as Chuck leaves, you can see that Blair is sad...
