Ok personally I love Chair and I love Blair but seriously Blair has always been dark and devilish hasn't she? Always causing drama and trouble for other people, this new "dark side" could only mean more drinking and partying for her, because I don't see how she could get any darker unless she kills some one.

I think Blair in her turn is going to be the victim (or one of the victims) of a scandalous story. As GG put it "Ain't karma a bitch?".
It's not really fair to say the Vanderbilts abandoned Nate and his mother; Nate's grandfather didn't want to give them any money, for fear the Captain would get his hands on it; but Nate was still welcome in the Vanderbilt home, and his grandfather apparently was and is willing to pay for Nate's education.
As for Rufus and Lily: "misguided" is surely the word, and it sounds like just what they (especially Rufus) would do.

The first paragraph sold it for me -
"Devastated by the recent plot twist in her life, Blair (Leighton Meester) turns her back on her predictable Waldorf existence in favor of a wild, unpredictable lifestyle, causing Serena (Blake Lively) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) to have serious concerns about their friend."
I like that they call Chuck Blair's "friend". He's been more of a friend to her and she to him than Nate ever was.

Uh Oh! Reckless Blair! Well, from the previews we know that she hooks up with Carter, shoplifts, tries to seduce Chuck, and then is MIA with Chuck and Serena looking for her. (In one of the Gossip Guides ~ I love it where Dorota goes off on Chuck in another language when he comes looking for B! I would love to know what she is saying!)
I wonder if it ends up being Nate who rescues Blair and this how they get back together. Maybe she ends up rejecting Chuck's help and now he has to go back to fighting for her. I am still trying to figure out the whole "I'm losing her" comment he makes. I just hope Chuck will finally realize that Blair is like no other girl and finally give her the love she so deserves from him!!
Ohhhh!!!! And that whole line from Chuck about "I'm losing her"...and Serena urging, "Then fight for her."
He's losing her not only because she's going to other guys, but because she's changing...and as it sounds, not in a good way.

I hate to sound vengeful.....but I think Chuck needs a taste of his own bitter medicine. I'm glad B will be throwing back at him for a bit. Now when the dust settles, let's hope these two can meet on common ground and be A COUPLE FINALLY!!!!!!
AH! Finally there is going to be some cb action! I love Serena and Chuck together too!
Blair's dark side is going to scare me. I wonder how far she will take it and how long it will last! LOL!
