i didn't like the last episode so much except for the izzie scenes.
First of all, i allways hate the episodes this writer does. (jenna banns right?)
secondly PLEASE get rid of the DREADFUL 'wannabe funny' music that has been played for the 'funny' scenes since season 4. it makes the situation less funny and was played WAAY too much in this episode.
also i thought that the dramatic music(the one with the drums) and the 'funny' music were played too close together.
Lastly i would like to say that the lighting and music of season one rocked and it would be amazing if grey's could get the people that directed that lighting and music back.
and on another note, please don't kill izzie.

The Gizzie scenes were phenomenal!!! Has Shonda heard us? Those two just shine when together! I hope this is the promise of more George time to come!! There are so many potential stories to further George's character-- so much unexplored territory for our Dr. O'Malley.
I really am looking forward to George being there for his best friend in future epis!

Mark and Lexie seems like a really bad attempt to recreate MerDer but Eric and Chyler don't have the same chemistry and I have never felt any real connection between Mark and Lexie.
I am a Maddison and Gizzie fna, yet I felt the chemistry between Mallie and Geexie.
Mexie just feels wrong.
I agree, I was thrilled to have those Gizzie scenes but we need more George after being so deprived all year.
George should be allowed to shine in medicine too like Alex has been twice this year now. When is it George's turn?

Oh God no, not the return of Addie again. I love Addie but how it was played out the last time around made me sick. Maybe some other time ok?
The problem with Lexie is that it can feel as Mark is doing the same thing as Derek just to be able to find what Derek has, the love of his life. I think that it was a good point that Mark is jealous of Derek, hence the replacement but it doesn't fit.
My mom once said about one of my ex, who I constantly cared about (sorta like Lexie with Sloan right now...it's why I remembered) that he didn't needed a girlfriend so dedicated, he needed a mother to take care of him (true, we were 17 but it was a good metaphor). Didn't Lexie said that she was a nester? And that Mark had the maturity of a horny 15 year old? Mark grew up with Derek's family and even so, he still felt like an outsider to his family. He is looking for somebody to take care of him, in a way like a mother would. Too twisted but it has made sense to me finally.

They are not cute, Mexie that is, they are super corny and pukefesty.
I don't get how Mark could go from Addison to little girl Lexie.
The only guy I ever loved Lexie with was George. THEY were cute, although Gizzie is more my couple, but I loved Gexie too.
And I loved Mallie.
Those couples had chemistry.
And yeah. Hello George hasn't found true love and he needs to become this great doctor and maybe work with kids with Bailey, his old mentor.
Join the pediatric team, he would be so good.
No story, my eye.
You are not a fan or you wouldn't say that.

I am happy that Callie is really getting out into the dating field. The appearance of Jessica Capshaw, who also appeared in "The L Word," is a charming addition, and I think could prove a great contrast for Callie. I a still a little bitter about losing Erica Hahn. They say there was a lack of "magic," but I think they failed to give it time. But this direction is a good one, I think.
Bailey is a less discussed character, though I think she pretty much keeps the whole thing together. I've been a little annoyed with the Chief lately, and I'm glad that him and Bailey have finally talked about it, began to work things out. I'm glad that they have spread the surgery specialties, too - Bailey being in Pediatrics will be interesting for those of us that enjoy watching it for both the drama and the medical mysteries. :)

im not sure why everyone doesnt like mexie... they're so cute together :)
it sad to see izzie not telling george about her condition..
when izzie was outside the locker room, i kept on guessing who she would tell...
about merder, i think it was really cute to see meredith being there for derek, although derek was being a real jerk... i hated the chief for telling meredith about the ring and i also hated derek throwing the ring...
but overall i think it was a great episode... i watched it 4 times!!!

Know what I just found incredibly funny? People (including myself) wanted Lexie with George and really thought it'd go somewhere, then bitch when she gets with Sloan because he looks like he could be her dad.
Know what's hysterical? Eric Dane is only several months older than T.R. Knight.

You know now why we hate them, how deep. Is that why I have thought Mark was great with every woman but Lexie?
You want to know why I hate them: they have zero chemistry for start, they look like father and daughter, it is insulting that a girl has to fix him especially when he is the world's biggest jerk to everyone but her (a bit like Alex is). I don't buy into a relationship fixing someone. It is unhealthy and wrong especially when Mark clearly still has tons of problems like being so jealous of Derek.
Plus they never SHOW us their bond. They have them have gross sex and say incredibly cheesy lines to each other, usually two lines peer episode and we are suppose to believe their so-called instant love even though Eric looks like he wants to crawl into a hole rather than do any of those scenes with her.

Umm if you really loved George to death, like you lie hmm pretend to, you wouldn't be saying that.
There is tons to do with George, like showing him being a resident and doing operations and rising above the 007 stigma and chosing his own speciality, and finding true love, and teaching his residents and picking a speciality like maybe pediatrics.
Come to think of it, what is left to do with Mark? he has found true wuv in his 5-year old little girl and she has fixed him and made him a boring lapdog.So what else? He marries the wittle little princess who can do no wrong, they have loads of kids and they bore us to death even more?
Or Alex? He has become a nice guy and believes in himself.
What else?
IMO, George has the most growing to do and the most room for development. He is the one who hasn't found love or success yet, so of all the characters, he is probably the one that has the most stories left to tell.

I often wish they'd bring Addie back so they can pair her up with Sloan... Actually, I want her back anyway because she was an awesome character on the show.

the reason why the ratings have been dropping is because the storyline is so depressing.bad acting(miranda going soft and twitching her nose at the chief?!?) ugh! we want her tough and being a bully! ridiculous lines(you think you broke me little grey?)--duh! who ever says things like that? and i finally realized what's bugging me about them. with sloan's salt and pepper hair and lexie's youthful face, they look more like big brother and younger sister than lovers.it looks incestous that's why people wants to puke when we see them. imagine from addison montgomery to lexie? such a big downgrade for sloan and he deserves a real love life. i do like the twist in merder's relationship.dereck is the one being dark and twisty but they should stop that soon though. i don't think many people likes to see dereck being an ass...

Get over the George not having a lot of scenes, there are only some places u can take a character and when its been done its done. And unfortunately its George. I love George to death, but what more is there to do with him? turn him gay for the show? viewers wont respond to that, disastrous marriage has been done, sleazy love affair has been done, longing for a co-worker/roommate.. done, parental death.. done, Professional set back done.. soo really where is George to go? quietly through the back door, after he takes care of his dying friend.
I love Izzie, Im a hardcore Izzie fan. I really dont wanna see her go. I want to see her and Alex's relationship progress. I don't want her to go because she has yet to find herself in her profession. Her character still has soo much growth that I would like to see.

Exactly. Callie was the first one to tell Mark he was more than sex. I don't buy Mexie at all. I don't think the show does either, which is why we never see any of their big convo or the so-called bond they have and why they have 3 seconds of airtime together.
Shonda just wants the two Mc guys with the Grey sisters but deep down she knows they are a huge bust.
Lexie has taken away Mark' b*lls and she needs to give it back to him. He is her little pet now and him calling her little Grey like a little dog is so icky.
Kill that relationship.
Oh I squeed when George talked to Izzie, I missed them and him so much.
Anyone scared Aussiello is right though and George will die to save Izzie? I will throw something if she does that and I will never watch again. George can't die.

When I said she was more friend than Derek was in recent times (season 4/5) and what you said, Callie understands Mark in a way we didn't see Derek doing. Of course that the McDoctors have a lifetime friendship and that is irreplaceble even with all the disappointment between the two.
I also LOVE Mark, he's one of my favorite characters, but him and Lexie doesn't sit me well either...

I'm not sure if Callie is more friend than Derek, given that Derek has been there for the majority of his life and has been disappointed a lot by Mark's actions but in a way, she does get him more than he does...I'm guessing Derek is already used to Mark breaking promises.
I'm also not sure about this Lexie/Mark thing. It just doesn't sit to me well. I couldn't help but to FF their parts, despite the fact that I ADORE Mark.

Callie was and is Mark's friend! She's more friend than Derek. We have seen them talk about many things, not only sex. She's the one who he goes for advice and a person he cares and respects alot.
Slexie wouldn't be an item if Callie wasn't there to give him confidence that he can have a normal relationship and be happy. Just my opinion.
This couple (Slexie) didn't convinced either...

I doubt Izzie's going to die. I disagree with Belgian Grey, though, I don't think it's a cheap story at all.
When Derek swung at the ring with the bat I was shouting at my TV... I felt so bad for Meredith and I give her major props (hah, my new fave expression) for saying that she wouldn't leave him.
Lexie and Mark are ehhh okay, I mean I think they have some chemistry but they're not my favorite couple or anything.
I was sooo happy when George actually spoke to Izzie :)))

I hate Slexiepuke more than ever. They are so sugary sweet, it puts me into diabetic shock, and God can they have elss chemistry if they tried?
I want them over.
They take off way too much airtime from characters I really love like George.
I liked Gexie, not sure why they dropped them. They were way better, but even if I hadn't liked Gexie and Mallie, Slexiepuke would still make me heave.
At least the George and Izzie scenes made it better, but when will George finally get his own story?
TR rocked the show last night, like he always does. He deserves so much better.
Get rid of Lexie and use George. I love all the other characters except for her.
The ratings were 13 millions, ouch!

Yeah well maybe she'll hear us about giving George an actual story. Three scenes is still not enough even though I did love Izzie telling him how great he was. i started bawling like a baby. I love those two and george deserves praising so much.
But why does everyone have a love life nd success but him? If anyone deserves happiness and success on this show, it is George. he is the sweetest most decent character ever and like Izzie says, he never steps on people like so many of the other characters do.
mark and Lexie? They still don't work and I am sorry, but their fans are seeming kind of pathetic. They always seem to be trying to make us love them so hard. Maybe if you try so hard, there is something wrong with the couple, don't you think?
They have zero chemistry and I hate that they had to destroy the Gexie friendship and act like Addie and Callie never meant anything to Mark just to prop up Lexie the perfect girl wonder and their so-called true wuv.
