Whoops. Looks like Kim shot me right down. Except for the fact she said exactly what they all say. "Wait til your character gets no story line" Well sorry to break it to you but I like all the characters. People come and people go on a show, that's actually what makes a show. So while you may believe that you like the show, you are deceiving yourself. I really just needed to rant, because almost every other post on here was someone whining about what George was doing. Hate to tell you but he's not vital to the show's success anymore. Anyway, I know it's a losing battle, so go ahead and ignore me, I'm pretty sure I don't look stupid but hey that's what opinions are for.

Word greysforlife, although I think it's a lost battle. In a way, I can't blame them since I was like that in the beginnig of the season when we got so little MerDer. Still...we all should be able to enjoy the show, right?
Also, I can't believe what I'm reading. This is the ring that his mother gave him. WTF is wrong w/ you Derek?!?!?

I am sorry greysforlife, but you are the one being ridiculous.
We don't want an all-George show. We just want him to have a story like EVERY single character except for him has had this year.
In 16 episodes I don't even think he had 60 minutes of airtime. In 16!
Every single critic and even the general fans are mentioning this.
So basically you are making yourself look stupid.
Come back to me when your character is the ONLY one that doesn't have a story the freaking entire season and everyone but him gets a love interest and a story and a chance to shine.
BTW I did watch the episode, so don't speak for everyone.
Ever thought some didn't have the time to watch yet?
And forr the record, I still hate Mark and Lexie. They are so sugary sweet, they make me want to retch.
Still not feeling AI either.
I do love OC and MerDer.
But keep yopur lecture for yourself, we don,t have to deal with george getting no airtime and TR doesn,t have to deal with it either. N

Seriously I get so annoyed at all you people only caring about the George scences. Like seriously, watch the episode it was fantastic. Everyone made the episode great in all the roles they played. If you want a show with all George all the time you're not going to get the best Grey's has to offer. They have a fantastic crew working together right now, so deal with the time George gets and go with it. Stop being redic about his airtime and enjoy the EPI.

Cristina and Izzie at the vent was amazingly powerful. I absolutely loved the direction this scene was taken and it couldn't have been better.
I knew Derek was going to either throw or bat away the ring because he was completely hammered. It was the first time since Mer's "You don't get to call me a whore" speech that we've seen true pain in her. She loves Derek so much and she's come such a long way that I'm really cheering for them and hope they make it through this. I think they will, after all they've gone through a lot.
I cried twice during this episode, or rather, continued crying straight through two scenes. I cried when Izzie was telling Cristina her diagnosis and I cried when Derek batted away the ring. I was yelling at the screen, "Don't do it Derek, don't do it!" even before he finished taking it out of his pocket. People do awful things when they're upset, which are only exacerbated by alcohol, and I'm sure he immediately realized what he had done. If they can get th

Yes, George is in a few scenes and one with Izzie is really good. It gives me hope that they will have some great scenes coming up.
And Alex wasn't so mean to George, just more complimentary to Izzie. He was great this episode, but c'mon, he's still Alex :)

Overall, the episode was amazing!! I know a lot of people don't, but I think Mark and Lexie are cute! And I almost cried because of that Jim guy! Being in McDreamy's shadow would stink for anyone! But I still thought people overlooked him and were kinda mean! And....DEREK AND MEREDITH!!?!?!? Well, I was happy that when the Chief told Meredith that Derek was going to propose that she looked genuinely excited!!! And I think Derek will regret what he did to that ring, especially since it was his mother's and the chances of finding that are probably less than 5%.....

Did he and Izzie talk at all?
So Lexie and Izzie are friends now, fitting when they both had a thing for George, though I think we are suppose to forget about Gizzie and Gexie now that we have AI and Slexiepuke.

OMG, PHENOMENAL episode! Katherine heigl does indeed deserve an emmy for this year, izzie was fantastic! the merder scene! WOW. lexie and izzie's scene gave me chills, and so did christina and izzie at the vent!
and george was in the promo for next week! He KNOWS theres something wrong with izzie, he just knows, and its so awesome man, the gizzie friendship is back!

George had several scenes? really spill, I am so excited. I love my George.
Oh I don't really like Mark and Alex. So they are nice to their girlfriend but they are still jerks to most other people, including Alex being a jerk to george.
mark was also awful to george, something Lexie told him before she went all gaga on him.
I still don't like ML for what I have seen. I didn't see this week but last week I saw and they had zero chemistry. Until this magically change, I don't think I will be changing my mind especially when they keep saying Lexie fixed him, berk. Addie and callie did that, not wittle Lexie.
Did George have any scenes with Izzie or did they again ignore this friendship?

I agree with Karoline, I want to know if there's any George or not :-/ The eppy STILL hasn't aired, and I'm very impatient. Thanks for the MerDer info though. Sounds really dramatic and heart breaking. I want to see Izzie's diagnosis and stuff, too. But I'd rather be more surprised. I'm just mainly curious about George. Is he aware of what's happening to her? Or has he been sitting at the cafeteria table with a sandwich in his hand, watching the conversation flow as usual?

Well, Derek had to be very very drunk, he told Mer that she should leave that she never wanted to be in this relationship and then she told him about the ring and he showed her the ring and then hit it with the baseball bat and threw it away!!

I don't know about the other songs, but the opening track was Front Row by Metric, from their new album, Fantasies, due out April 14. They've had a few tracks on Grey's before. Metric + Grey's = Love.

Totally forgot to mention the Christina and Owen relationship thing. Great scene when Yang came in and told him that she's not gonna be run away that quickly. It's all about fighting, and each is fighting for their relationships in a different way. Did I say how much I loved this episode yet? LOVEEED ITTT
