Mischa Barton: No to Melrose Place Remake, Yes to A Beautiful Life

Following weeks of speculation, it can now be confirmed that Mischa Barton will NOT join the cast of the upcoming Melrose Place remake.
But the former OC star is returning to television on The CW.
According to Zap2It, Barton has landed a role in the Ashton Kutcher-produced, one-hour pilot A Beautiful Life. The show follows a group of young models living together in New York City.
The mediocre actress will portray Sonja, one of the veteran catwalkers that is desperately trying to remain relevant in the industry. Hmmm... sounds perfect for Barton, doesn't it?
