One Tree Hill Recap: "Searching For a Former Clarity"

at . Comments

"You’re my sons and I failed you. I’m sorry for that, for so many other things, but I’m proud that each of you have become the kind of man I could never be. You’re good men and you’re good brothers. Don’t let the world change that." - Dan Scott

This One Tree Hill quote marked one of the more touching moments of the current sixth season. As Dan awaits word on a heart transplant, he's taken the time to reflect on his failures, and if nothing else, is determined his sons not repeat those mistakes.

Plenty of other things went down last night, including lots of adorable Jamie scenes that made the room dusty. Follow the link for a recap of "Searching For a Former Clarity" ...

One Tree Hill Quotes

Regret comes in all shapes and sizes. Some are small , like when we do a bad thing, for a good reason. Some are bigger, like when we let down a friend. Some of us escape the pains of regret by making the right choice. Some of us have little time for regret, because we're looking forward to the future. Sometimes we have to fight to come to terms with the past. And sometimes we bury our regret, by promising to change our ways. But our biggest regrets are not for the things we did... but the things we didn't do. The things we didn't say that could save someone we care about. Especially when we can see the dark storm that's headed their way.

Happiness is not a destination. It is a mood, it is not permanent. It comes and goes and if people thought that way then maybe people would find happiness more often.
