It took all season, a phone call from BFF Lauren Conrad, a heart-to-heart with Diane Von Furstenberg herself, and surely more than a little cajoling from the producers.

But by golly, The City star Whitney Port eventually grew a spine.

On the season finale of her reality show last night, Whitney kicked loser boyfriend Jay Lyon to the curb after he came around and begged for another shot. Too little, too late.
