I am so dissapointed with the way they are handling chuck and blair. when you think they are gonna get together the writers just throw another roadblock. I'm tired and I feel played. how much can a fandom take? is just too much obstacles: nate, amelia, bart, lord marcus, dan (when he told blair not to say the 3 words), bart's death (yes, blair said ilu, but chuck went to tailand), uncle jack (and god knows what happened between him and blair), whores, ellen (hated this sl, couldnt you guys think something better to make chuck realize that he loves blair?, carter and why not? let's be original: nate again.Enough is enough. No josh, the fun isnt in the journey, and stephanie I'm sorry, but we are "hangign in there" for almost two seasons.

I am a hardcore GG fan, so i won't skip episodes if they aren't together immediately, but they'd better be together by the end of the second season, or I'm gonna be pissed. Unfortunately, after the hiatus most of my friends are skipping episodes until Chuck and Blair become a REAL couple

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH Brazilian Girl. She has it down to a fine tee.
There is faaar to much focus put on all the couples in general on g.g.
But to be honest i reli would love to c nate and blair together they looked adorable.

I hate what they are doing with chuck and blair's relationship. if they wanted to keep them apart for some episodes i would be fine, but they are just ruining everything that made this relationship so special... the nanny storyline was the WORST ever... "the most beautiful woman" comment and chuck wanting to leave the country with her are just so ooc.... I really hope the writers do some seriuos damage control because that storyline really pissed me off... but I dont think i'm gonna watch next episodes. I dont wanna see nate and blair together

I'm frankly missing the shocking scenes. There are too many damn spoilers! Telling people five weeks in advance who's gonna die (the old rich guy), who'll reunite and which character will stay on the show for how long is exactly how you lose people's interest.
The breaks only add to that.
Also, I miss the fever.
Serena's been said to be the bad girl since episode one, and all we've seen is Georgina's comments on what she used to be like? I've stopped believing in a bad Serena months ago, boring Serena is more like it.
S., Vanessa and Nate just seem to speak their lines. I'm sorry, but that's the way it is. Serena is no bad girl, Vanessa no artist (she's been holding a camera how many times now? 2, 3?) and Nate just doesn't get plot. Well, he does now, so taking Vanessa out of his life ought to help.
Nothing against this rich/poor couple strategy, but they ought to find two people who have a chemnistry. Dan/Serena made me yawn as much as Nate/V.

I just want to see Chuck and Blair together. It's great to watch Chuck fighting for Blair, but many of us are getting tired of this. We have been waiting for this reunion for SOOOO long, and it wouldn't hurt if they stayed together a while(AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT 4 - 5 EPISODES, I'M TALKING ABOUT LIKE ONE SEASON OR SOMETHING). All CHAIR fans have been patient so I feel we deserve that. Not just a cute scene were there's lips action..
It would be perfect if the producers could do this without destroying them like they destroyed Dan and Serena as a couple. When I saw a old clip of them from season one, I couldn't stop thinking about how sad it is that they will never get those cute moments back. So PLEASE DON'T DO THIS WITH OUR CHAIR!

I think the reason I started watching was because the first season was really addicting. I felt like it replaced the OC for me. Chuck was a basass rich highschool guy - note how I say highschool- who tried to rape Jenny and Serena and didn't care about relationships. Blair was a skinny superficial freak who hated Serena and Dan was lonely boy who followed Serena like a lost puppy. Now Chuck acts like he's middle aged and like he somehow forgot what he used to be like ?? Serena is TOO CUTE TOO NICE TOO MATURE to ever have made me believe she was a party girl. She needs to get bad fast. Like break rules make people go "I can't believe they can do that on T.V" What happened to Dan following Serena? He used to be in love with her, stalk her...I guess not anymore? Blair is the only thing that even makes me watch these days and I never liked her character before. That's sad.

OK for the Bizillion time!!! CHUCK AND BLAIR NEED TO GET TOGETHER LIKE ASAP!!! I watch the show for 2 reason: to see what Blair is going to wear and what Chuck is going to do to be together with Blair and viceversa,so please give us that satifaction. I love the Crazy story lines and the drama and New York.
And another thing, they really need to stop with the LONG HIATUS THING, so many weeks without my GG it's driving crazy and you lose momentum and the line of the story, by the time you watch the new episodes you're lost and the excitment of the last episode is forgotten by the 4 WEEK BREAK!!! I agree with many of you. Don’t bring Nate and Vanessa back together! They don’t belong together! I have stopped watching the show ever since Nate picked Vanessa over Jenny. Vanessa is so very annoying; she gets into everybody’s way. Additionally, she is a selfish, self-centered, judgmental hypocrite. Nothing she does on the show seems to warm me up towards her. I hate watching her on the show. Nate on the other hand, though lost and cheesy, has nothing in common with Vanessa. He at least has a soft heart and tries (but fails a lot of the times) to do what is right. Nate and Vanessa together are just not convincing and so fake. Jenny, on the other hand, at least fights for what she believes, though in an annoying and childish way sometimes which we can certainly relate. I think that Jenny’s spirit may be the unrealized source of attraction for Nate who is so lost and tries to find what he wants as well (he may not yet have realized this himself). The plot is getting boring, to be frank. I need some super drama to pick things up!
No more Blair whining about not getting into Yale... we got it; she's pissed.
Chuck needs to start being a pimp again because he made my LIFE before because he was soooo sexy (apparently I think pimps are sexy?? lol)
And Jenny needs some sort of plot again! I know the next episode is going to have her, so gooood.
Maybe if they introduce this half-silbing of Dan and Serena's, it will get super interesting again... but right now, it feels like filler between the last good epsiodes (ie. when bart bass kicked the bucket and the few epsiodes following) and the season finale, which I HOPE will be good!!

As much as I don't like Nate/Blair, I'm not going to stop watching. I think that Nate/Blair is going to be even more of a wake up call to Chuck. He went to go tell her that he loved her and he was hurt but I think that he'll grow from this. He'll realize that he is Chuck Bass but with her, he's more. He doesn't have to change personalities and become this sweethearted, overly-affectionate guy. Their chemistry will make room for lots of drama and fun if the directors and writers throw in witty banter and some small obstacles and drama.

The ratings doesn't show everything. There are a lot of fans who watch the show online. What to think of all the fans in Europe? I don't know you guys are all American, but Gossip Girl is also succesfull there. I live in the Netherlands and almost every girl I know loves it very much. In my country they broadcast episode 12 now. So I am watching GG every tuesday (one day later than in America) ont the internet.
I am so tired of the long breaks. Six weeks is not normal! In season 1 I recognized myself in the girls (Serena and Jenny), but in season 2 they stand further away. They are teenagers, not adults. I am also very dissapointed because of the breaks between Dan and Serena and the weird realtionship between Chuck and Blair. That has to change.
But I always support and love my favorite show and I hope that everybody else feels that way too.
First off all and we can't say it enough: NO MORE BREAKS DON"T MAKE US WAIT LIKE 4 OR 6 WEEKS EVER AGAIN!! i'm up for a shorter season if they would just keep going! who's with me?
And yes please finally Chuck&Blair let them try and for a while not for just 2 shows give them the time! And if it's boring we will tell you!
I agree that people like Jenny and Eric need story-lines.. We know now that Rufus and Lily are soooo happy but if we wanted a lot of them we would watch a show about elder people..
Maybe let Eric be a little wild in the gay scene and make Jenny the new queenb with a cute guy!
And just let something wild happen like with Serena they are Upper east siders they have money can do everything they like..

After the Grandfather episode it gives me hope the GG is back on the right track. There are however a few things that do need to be addressed:
1. The fact that all the characters are trying to behave like they are adults. These are supposed to teenagers that have unlimited amounts of money (except for D,J, and V) that have practically every door opened for them and could probably get away with murder (Serena almost did). They should be living it up and partying like there is no tomorrow. Even Chuck is turning dull with his grown-up antics. Give us some drama. Drugs, Sex and Scandal! Take a hint from the books. No more of this after school special crap! Dan was actually the only person to do something remote scandalous in the last 10 episodes. This would have been more exciting if Ms. Carr wasn't unattractive and SL was better.
2. The characters are starting to get dull. What happened to Blair the cutthroat bitch? Now she just sits around and cries all the time. She used to be abl

i think that they have been relying too heavily on guest stars as plot devices and for a while there they had practically every main character involved in a different storyline. the grandfather was the best episode in a long time and one reason i think was that all the characters were finally in the same room with overlapping storylines. i think nate and vanessa are a good pairing, these last couple episodes are the first time i've really been interested in either character. that said i am actually looking forward to the nate and blair storyline. i think it will bring closure to their story that we didn't have season 1 and it will give chuck the opportunity to fight for blair so when the do end up together it will be a better payoff. i want to see more interactions with the whole cast and less fragmented storylines. and more eric!!

i think that they have been relying too heavily on guest stars as plot devices and for a while there they had practically every main character involved in a different storyline. the grandfather was the best episode in a long time and one reason i think was that all the characters were finally in the same room with overlapping storylines. i think nate and vanessa are a good pairing, these last couple episodes are the first time i've really been interested in either character. that said i am actually looking forward to the nate and blair storyline. i think it will bring closure to their story that we didn't have season 1 and it will give chuck the opportunity to fight for blair so when the do end up together it will be a better payoff. i want to see more interactions with the whole cast and less fragmented storylines. and more eric!!
