I want Chuck and Blair to be together, I want them to have the hot, steamy, sexy relationship that they had in Season 1 Episode 7, Victor/Victrola. I want them to be happy and satisfied. I want Cyrus and Blair's Mother Elanor to be on the show more often, and more frequently.
I want Serena and Dan to stop getting together and breaking up and being friends and not being friends, just pick one and stick with it for more than 3 episodes.
I would like the Lily/Rufus love child to come smoothly into their lives.
Stop with all the breaks, do one super long one and then just continually show episodes. The breaks are confusing and mess up my ability to stay with the show.
STOP STOP STOP putting real-life couples together on the show... it makes no sense for the characters and those characters' characteristics and morales and likes and dislikes. Blair and Carter? Really? Maybe Carter and Serena, but not Carter and Blair. WORST OF ALL: Chuck and Vanessa... seriously? Would Vaness

I can totally see why the ratings are down they are ruining the show with the whole C & V thing. I mean really the Vanessa character we've known would never sleep with Bass and Chuck if he loved and wanted to get back with Blair so much why would he be all over V. Just because they are a couple in real life doesn't mean they have to be on the show. Honestly I'm sure your ratings will suffer now from the STUPIDness of this show. I do love B & N together though it's about time B is not pining or chasing after C. He really needs to get his act together and fight for B if he truly loves her instead of always hurting her. THE WRITERS SUCK!!!!

They should make it easy for us to buy the season box. Promote it directly on the website. (thats an extra source for revenue. haha. you can see I work in sales.) ;-)
Or even go into great detail how you can download single episodes and pay for them.

Also i loved the idea of ripping the headlines type of plots that would be so cool (omg if you guys can make a fake britney and get her on stage to SAY MAH PUSSYS FALLING OUT I WOULD DIE OF LAUGHTER !!!!))GG definetly should be more rauchier my friends have way more fun then them and we are dorks :).

I wanted to add something to my previous 2posts.
First I wouldnt have mentioned skins in the first place, if someone would suggest stealing from them. Thats lame.
(Maybe get a little inspiration would sound much better)
Anyway the show is so British, I dont think Americas like to see teenagers being sick, taking drugs and having lots of sex. (but I dont know as I am not American)
But a couple more things about skins, every character seems to be as important as the rest. And I promise the public is loveling them all. Secondly its not a teen show, its rated 18+.
I would also like to add a bit about GG. Not sure if you are intending it to be a teen show, but thats not how you have started. Me and my friends are ranging from 23-29y and we all liked it very much. (Just my opinion, the hype at the beginning of the show wasnt due to the teen audience the show maybe has.) It used to be also attractive to an young adult audience.

The show's biggest problem? It's relying too much on shock value and there's way too much couple swapping. It seems as if the writers aren't up to the challenge of fleshing out a relationship and adding depth to it, instead breaking up the couple to add cheap drama.
Focus more on the characters, flesh them out, develop them, because that is what people love about this show.
More attention on the setting would be interesting too- season 1 episodes centered around Upper East Side events were quite popular. A more rounded view on the Upper East Sider lifestyle would be interesting too. Instead of glorifying it, why not delve into the dark side? Question character's views on their life, play around with it. But don't let the show take itself too seriously, or else it will turn into a melodrama and enter sopie realm :(

the show has gone down since Lily and Rufus have got together. The story is supposed to look at the lives of upper eastt siders. not hypocritical mid-aged has been pseudo-rocker and a woman who runs Bass Industries. Please spare us all==plus you have Lily's spoiled kids, his one dorky son who loathes the whlloe society of NY, sister and Chuck!!!Maybe Rufus will see how the kids start behaving and move them where they belong!!!
You can't forgo the premise of the books!!

We don't hate Vanessa because she's poor and black, we hate her because she's annoying. I like her though, and would personally like to see her character develop. Dan/Vanessa looks pretty cute and plausible.
Chuck and Blair: Epic, duh, and I do love the struggle. But my real problem is that it is no longer tit for tat. Chuck is way more unfair to Blair than she is to him. If you evened the score, it would help us and keep us tuned in.
Nate and Jenny is just terrible, OK? seriously....
Serena and another, interesting guy looks pretty cool. Maybe even Serenate, as boring and barfy as that sounds.
However, i think the show's real problem now is that it is in awkward puberty. It was wonderful as a mostly lighthearted, childhood romp in Season 1; I'm sure it will blossom into a beautiful, more mature show in Season 3.

I'm glad the producers/writers are looking to viewers for help, because they need it. Gossip Girl is a fantastic show but there are so many ways it could be improved!
Keep some things constant. Viewers like knowing they can rely on something to remain and sustain. For example, in the book series it was Blair and Nate - no matter what happened they always somehow ended up together and that was a theme that held throughout. (It's about time theyre back together in the show!) Stop mix matching couples every other episode, it doesn't allow for people to become attached.
Build upon current characters. Stop throwing in randoms when you have such a diverse crew of characters whose backgrounds have barely been explored. It's the end of season 2, we should've known a lot more about each character by now and we don't.
Bring on the sex, scandal and parties! Gossip Girl has fallen flat here. The books had so much grit while the show is pale in comparison. The show needs more passion.
