I am a huge fan of this amazing show and I have but one request:
Please can Chuck and Blair finally get together. I have been re-watching episodes with them, again and again because the recent ones don't feature them nearly enough! There is so much to be developed with those two charachters, the producers probably think it will be the end of the storyline once they get together, but there's been too long of a wait and people are getting antsy.
Also, (I lied i have one more request) i REALLY hope Blair gets into Yale, there HAS TO BE A WAY!
-So I am a tad bit frustrated with the fact that chuck and Blair keep playing these games with each other but at the same time I love that they continue this. I think the games are what keep me watching along with hopes of them getting together with each coming episode.
Chuck and Blair, together or apart, either way is perfectly fine with me. I love when they team up, just as they did when they took down Georgina. I would love to see one more of those in the upcoming episodes as well. I totally see a Seth Cohen (whom i love, STILL) and Summer Roberts duo in Chair.
-Now as for Serena and Dan, i'll make another O.C reference. They're like Ryan and Marissa. Like star crossed lovers or just lovers who should never be. For obvious reasons. They share a sibling. ICK! that alone would keep me from watching GG. Derena, better separate than together.
-Lastly... They need to bring the Jenny Drama back! I'm not sure what they could do with her because she pretty much had a full four years o

I think that Nate should be single now. He has dated every girl that is on the show. I think that Chuck should tell blair that he loves her and all of that stuff, but it needs to be so that it gets boring after. Its what makes gossip girl....gossip girl!!!!I think that chuck and blair need to get together again, but chuck still needs to be cool. So its going to be all in Ed Westwick to play it right. I don't know if I agree that Serena should go back to her wild ways, but she does need a little something. She went through a traumatic experience in her wild days -- for a lot of people that would be enough to kick them out of that mindset forever. Makes sense to me now that I think about it.
It is a show and not real life I guess, so meh.

I really love the show for 3 reasons:
Only 2 good actors who have witty and touching chemistry
Mr Ed Westwick and Miss Leighton Meester and i like the huge talent of Josh Schwartz. I'm sorry but Ed and Leigh made the show! Without them, the show'll be nothing.
Ok they are beautiful but not only, ils ont de la complicité, un peu unique (a sort of unique chemistry) and play well above all.
It's the first time, I watch a teen show, by thinking: punaise, ed may have an emmy nomination (especially for this stunning performance in 2.13 episode, oh Leigh is two-thumbs up in this episode)

1. Nate needs to be single for a good, long while. Then, they need to rebuild his friendship with Jenny before they ever return to a romance with them (which they should). Let her get another boyfriend first and he can be jealous. Maybe Nate could move back into the loft when Dan goes to Yale or something to keep them interacting. There's too much natural chemistry there to go to waste.
2. If Vanessa has to be on the show, give her something else to do other than be around Nate. I cannot stand them together. They have zero chemistry and I Hate how they keep being forced together. Vanessa is just a horrible character. She hates on people for their manipulative, backstabbing ways, but then she does the same thing...only when she gets caught she cries and plays the victim. She stole Nate's letter to Jenny, tried to get in the middle of Dan/Serena, and then ruined Blair/Chuck's chances in 208. She needs to pick a freaking side already. I just...gah. GG needs more of this is nyc and this is upper class high society. Season 1 had billionaire company brunches, balls, masquerades, and lots of ny references like tea at the carlyle. Season 2 revolved too much around the high school courtyard, come on, the fashion is practically non-existant because they're always wearing uniforms, and this isn't GG. This is a downgraded soap opera except they're not adults, just teens who are emphatically teens as they do nothing but hang out in the school courtyard but playing at being adults. This season was boring and pathetic. People watch GG for the escapism, the upper class events and fashion, not to see them whine about universities that we all know they'll get into anyways. And Rufus and Lily is the stupidest thing ever, no one cares or wants to see that. It's even worse than the Elle or Carr randomness.

Additionally, i like V. Loved her in the books, and as long as she didn't meddle between Derena, she was alright in my book. On that note, I don't think GG should follow the books entirely. As much as I loved them, it was always the same thing: Blair and Serena fighting over Nate. Now how boring would that get? That love triangle took up a few episodes in season one, and to explore it again would probably get boring.
However, some of the material could be used, like Senior Spa Day or the girls's tryouts for the movie, was it Breakfast at Fred's? Also, Jenny's quasi-lesbian friendship with Elise could be humorous, especially if she asked Eric for advice. I wouldn't be opposed to a side character like her who would add some intrigue for more than a failed SL.
For all those complaining about Blair's misery, just try reading the books. Blair's my favorite character, and at every point she just got defeated by Serena, who is of course shaped after the writer CVZ. In this w

I agree with what somany people are saying about the writers buring through storylines. I really thought they would've learned their lesson with The O.C. but apparently not! Season one was so amazing because it had one solid plotline that involved all of the major characters.
I've been a huge fan of Chuck and Blair from the beginning, but their whole game of those two dancing around each other is getting OLD! I miss the excitment those two use to stir up and the cute moments they used to share (like in the OMG so sweet moment at Lily's wedding to Bart). Oh, and Chuck needs to stop acting like he's middle aged and learn to be fun and unpredictable again!
I HATE Vanessa on the show and see her as a completely POINTLESS character. It's not anything personal against the actress who plays her, but V doesn't fit in with the other characters on the show and adds nothing but stupid drama that doesn't really bring anything to the show.
What I would really like to see is more of Jenny

I think something big needs to happen this season. Nothing really shocking has happened yet to me. Like nothings made me say "OMFG" Like for example last season Serena revealed that she had been doing drugs and that guy died. And-of course-Blair losing her "chastity belt" in the back of Chuck's limo.

Yeah they need to make sure that the plots and various subplots are resolved because things only get more complicated when there are too many unknowns!

The problem with this season has been all the anti-climaxes. There haven't been any big bangs, mainly just subtle beginnings and things slowly fizzling out, like Jenny's temporary fashion career, Dan and Serena's reconciliation, Chuck and Blair, etc. I'm actually shocked that Lily and Rufus are finally together. I think the show is heading in the right direction. BUT there have been a few slow episodes, or at least ones that lack the "Gossip Girl" OMFG factor. But it's coming back, especially with the latest episode 'The Grandfather.' And 'Remains of the J' looks like it has a few potential jaw-dropping moments.
Let's face it. The writers are not going to give Chuck and Blair their happily ever after anytime soon. And that's fine. I think it's better drawn out. Like Blair said, there's excruciating pleasure in the wait. The problem is when we don't get enough Chuck and Blair to tide us over. Like in 'You've Got Yale!', there's that brief moment at the opera when Blair run

Chuck and Blair - stop with the games, there together or their not, got it?
Vanessa - Just get her off or give her a good story line hwere she's not annoying, and if you make her sleep with Chuck I swear, you'll see ratings in the negatives.
Nate - Make him fun and wild! And put him with Serena to bring that out of him.
Serena - Only sane person on gossip girl but she's getting boring...
Dan - Hes so funny! Give him a major story line!
Jenny - She kidna fell of the face of the earth, brin gher back, and eric as well.
The cast - Just make them fun again, it feels like I'm watching 40 year olds with back problems.
Oh ya, Lily and Rufus - Make them interesting, I don't know how you can do that but just do it.
My advice is go watch season one again and find the spice.
Blair: Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't love you.
