Yeah! Chuck Is still a teenager, he's still a kid. He needs to act like one. And his hair, needs to be like season 1's again. Blair and Chuck need some spice, and chuck needs to say i love you to blair. And I think it's kinda annoying when they overdue the classic likes like "I'm Chuck Bass." It was good the first time but no need for him to say is all the time. Something Big should happen to vanessa or serena because i feel like there lives are a little too solid. ha.

I think GG is as great as it always has been. I agree that the storyline for "age of dissonance" was a little slow, but I have no doubt that it will pick back up. I too, would love to see a CHAIR reunion and more of the undeniably sexy "cool" Chuck Bass. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
Oh...and bring Chuck's scarf back! Maybe Blair doing the dance of seven scarves would be kinda funny for him! Chuck is funny as hell with his sarcastic oneliners....
I (old lady here at 44) started watching GG when I was at home sick and watched my daughter's season 1 collection. I loved it! I loved it all! It really hooked me on Chair and I am a fan. After all the hot and crazy cat and mouse games earlier this season, I feel everything went flat. Then the 6 week long break. It was too long at a time where continuity was important. I do understand what they are doing with Chair, but now it is tiring to watch. They are always mad with each other, they always are very hurtful to each other, and it is getting beyond the point. I will still watch, but even in real life, a couple doing this has some sort of interaction, even if it's a phone call or text in private. I really think they are going to drag it out too long. And...they may never have intended to do Chair, but its a big part that drew everyone in.
Dan and Serena are funny right now. Nate is ok... Vanessa can be ok, but is just a female D

Miss Dior, i know nate was at the funeral, it'd really be the end of his character for me, if he wasn't there!
What i meant from where was nate was where was him in terms of actual support, sure he showed up and help chuck when he was drunk, but even that was more under blair's orders...Where was he when chuck was going trough his darkest hour in 2.14? Or even in 2.15 he was there for 2 minutes at the reading of the will and then he doesn't talk to chuck abt how he feels after reading the letter bart left and he doesn't even go to the brunch to show him his support?!And then chuck loses the company to his awful uncle and again, where's nate?

Dear writers:
1. We need the real Chuck Bass-tard back asap! And yes, his style and hair was much better in season 1, even in the first few episodes of season 2.
2. We need cotrol-freak Queen B back!
3. We need sexy and tensioned scenes with Blair & Chuck - either "fighting" with each other or really dating!
4. We need the "UES team" - "Brooklyn team" juxtapositions!
5. Serena, Nate, Lilly, Rufus are boring - do something before we ....zzzzZZZZZZZZ....
6. Dan and Vanessa need elaboration and good storylines as main characters and not just fillers.

yeah, but just the beginning of the season... and when chuck talked about elle to nate(even if just twice) i'm sure nate still thinks that chuck is still interested in Elle. Chuck was totally obsessed with Elle! And we didn't see any scene when Chuck and Nate talk with each other in the latest episodes...
I agree with you in that when Blair said ILY to Chuck he was going through a hard time of his life( didn't u see the 2.13 episode?Nate was there with Chuck and Blair too.If you don' believe me let's look at the promo pics), BUT anyway i can't understand why he had to give a so hurtful answer to blair!Despite his answer Blair still was there for him but he didn't care with her at all, he hurted Blair many times especially with that he rather chose his whores than blair. So the truth is chuck has rejected and hurt blair so much more than nate ever has.
I'd like emphasise again: I'm not saying that Nate hasn't done some shitty things to Chuck, just that going back to Blair isn't one

Why do you need to ask the viewers what they think? Catering to their whims only creates these boring plots of breakup, get back together for an episode, break up, get back together... No one is going to be satisfied because everyone wants something different. Invent a plotline that's not just filler for one episode at a time and that keeps true to what GG is: scandal everywhere and everything going to hell but everyone looking amazing through it all.

I'm sorry Miss Dior, a lot of what you said is true, but some of it isn't...
First of all, nate and chuck talked abt how chuck was so into blair in the beginning of the season (remember chuck confined in nate throughout the whole lord marcus sl), if they stopped talking abt blair was bc nate stopped talking to chuck at all, when chuck was only trying to help him...
Plus, chuck didn't go on and on abt elle to nate, he talked abt her like twice, as far as we know nate doesn't even know they met again....
Also, nate has never really seen blair being abused by chuck nor has he ever heard him telling her she wasn't his gf?!
It's pretty clear to others character in the show that chuck's in love with blair, serena knows it and i bet even dorota and dan have figured it out by now!
Nate's supposed to be chuck's bff, how can he not tell?
As for the elle sl i agree it's stupid but, IMO; it does in no way mean that chuck fell in love, he was heartbroken and wanting to get away and he was

Ok I am a pretty big gossip girl fan myself, but goodness guys, stop trying to have the show exactly your way. I'll agree that it isn't as good as last season, but last season had only 18 episodes to pack all that drama in, and this season they have 25 so it needs to be spread out. Plus there are the redeeming AMAZING episodes that make up for the disappointing ones, like O Brother Where Bart Thou, and the Grandfather. They were both so great and thats what keeps us coming back.. We know that even if they slip up a couple episodes, the next will be awesome.
And what do you mean low ratings.. the second season is averaging at 3.2 million viewers every episode. Not to mention that every week it is number one on itunes for the top selling tv episode. They've got nothing to worry about. Gossip girl is great.

Gossip girl is good, it just needs to remember to deliver what it promises. People are way too invested in this show. If the writers want to keep that, they better remember that they need to show the goods. They can't keep faking us out with IDIOTIC plots like the whole Carr (Carr paid off at the end...but barely) or Nanny thing.
Some things to keep in mind
1. They need to kill off Jenny. She's literally dead eyes, dead space.
2. Chuck should work out, he's getting kind of middle-agey
3. Vanessa needs a new look, something about her hair is very annoying. It's pretty, but like boring useless pretty
4. Why would anyone want to be with an asshole like Chuck? He's just such a jerk lately
5. They need to deepen the characters and add new relationships. I'd like to see Dan and Blair get stuck in an elevator
6. Who cares about Lily and Rufus?!? NOBODY!
7. The characters need to be put in more interesting scenarios, no more STEREOTYPICAL dances, pricey apartments or mansions...so
And I read it earlier, I really do agree that I would like to hear more of the fantastic Upper East side lifestyle that I can't have - make me jealous! Crazy parties, that kind of thing.
Okay so I'm not a posting type of person but since there is an actual possibility that someone who has some control over GG may see this I just want to point out my frustrations with the following:
- Vanessa: I mean not to be a bitch because I bet she's talented, I know she's pretty but she really does nothing for me on GG but irritate me. Her character is totally pointless. She needs to revved up into a big bitch or something, she is way too boring and annoying. I haaaate her with Nate
- Nate: WHy does he disappear for like 4 episodes at a time? Not cool
- Chuck: Can we acknowledge that he's in high school ONCE in a while? Maybe lets hear more of what a teenager who just lost their father feels like. And if hes such a boozer / druggie can we use that? I'd love to see him in a rage
- Blair: I know people will hate me for saying this but I'm okay with her not being with Chuck yet - you give it away too soon and I won't want it anymore! I like the idea of her whoring
